Struggle is life, life is fight.

Throughout life, a person is involved in the struggle for the achievement of goals.

Struggle, from any point of view, is the way to overcome difficult periods of life. And as a sport, wrestling allows and teaches the ability to protect oneself, one's loved ones, the Motherland, tempers not only physically, but also morally.

From 1977 to the present, a sambo wrestling section has been operating in the Maliwa secondary school. For more than 30 years, 1 Masters of Sports have been trained, and also become in the future international class, 2 Masters of Sports of Russia, more than 50 athletes were awarded the title of “Candidate for Master of Sports” and the 1st adult category in sambo and judo.

Among the achievements are the winners of the youth championships of the World and Europe, the medalist of the USSR championship, the winners and prize-winners of the Russian championships, the champions and prize-winners of the Moscow region, Moscow, other regions, as well as the prize-winners of various All-Russian and international tournaments. How many students were engaged during this period in the section, no one counted. During this time, the section was led by local pupils. A very large number of young men, having finished studying in the section, served in the elite troops of Russia - the airborne troops and the marines.

In this regard, in school curriculum an innovation was included, namely: starting from grade 1, wrestling training hours were introduced.

Wrestling is the name of the general section, it included throws from various martial arts, mainly from sambo and judo. The word is of great importance in the formation of a conscious attitude to the struggle. When talking with the guys, I try to give a complete picture of why she is needed, what she develops, what she educates.

A special wrestling room at the school allows students to conduct classes according to the program, which includes special exercises for wrestlers: the ability to fall correctly, master acrobatic elements, as well as throws in the “standing” and “lying” positions and the ability to apply them on the mat and in extreme situations.

As a teacher, I try to select exercises for classes with children of various age categories so that interest in this species sports did not die out, but rather only increased. For example, in grades 1-8, the emphasis is on games that have elements of wrestling: “rugby on the knees”, “tag-tags with somersaults”, “elephant”, and other games that also develop strength, endurance , flexibility, quickness of thinking, will, determination to win. In grades 9-11, I pay more attention to the development of strength, agility, constantly increasing the load to maximum capabilities.

At the wrestling hall there is a room equipped with various simulators, among which there are those that the guys made themselves, under the guidance of a teacher and coach.

Wrestling allows you to give a clear idea to the guys what kind of sport they have to do. Even those of them who, without making this choice, do not go in for this sport, have the opportunity to learn and improve wrestling skills in physical education classes throughout their schooling.

It has become a tradition to hold an open championship of the Kolomensky district in sambo wrestling among boys and girls, boys and girls in gym our school.

I hope that the wrestling classes did not go unnoticed for the pupils. Proof of this is the fact that only in the last four years, 8 boys and girls entered the universities to study at the Faculties of Physical Education and Sports, which is another proof of the right path. This innovation, wrestling, allows us to maintain the traditions of the school, the Kolomna region - to raise future defenders of the Motherland, physically and morally strong, self-confident, ready to stand up for themselves and their Fatherland in any life situations. After all, life is a struggle, and struggle is life.

Methodological developments for conducting a wrestling lesson in grades 6–8.

Warm-up exercises in place. Somersault forward without bending the legs. Self-insurance: falling forward with support on hands. Pain technique: elbow lever through the thigh. Conversation on the topic “Methods of developing strength”. Disequilibrium with a jerk with the capture of the arm and neck. Self-defense techniques: release from the grip of the hand with the hand.

  1. Warm-up exercises in place are usually performed after exercises in motion. When the group is large and the practice room is not large enough, only exercises are performed on the spot.
    Exercise examples.
    1) Walking in place with high hips.
    2) Running in place with acceleration (on the clap of the teacher).
    3) Running with heels reaching the buttocks.
    4) Jumping with a 180º (360º) turn on two legs and on one leg.
    5) Leg swings forward, backward, to the sides (with maximum amplitude).
    6) Squats with a partner on the shoulders.
    7) Forward bends without bending the legs, hands touching the carpet.
    8) From a kneeling position, sit on the buttocks on the left and right.
    9) From a kneeling position, bend over, pulling the carpet with the back of your head.
    10) From a supine position, raising your legs, reach the carpet behind your head with your toes forward, backward, to the sides.
  2. In addition to the exercises given in the lesson, they study forward somersault with straight legs. Those involved are given the task to perform a normal somersault forward, but without bending the legs. You can also suggest that students first do a somersault without bending the legs from the position of the legs apart (wider than the shoulders), then perform a somersault forward from the position of the legs together. After rolling over the back, the legs should be bent to stand up.
  3. Self-insurance: falling forward with support on hands.
    The sequence of exercises:
    1) In the emphasis lying flexion and extension of the arms.
    2) In emphasis lying on the fingers, flexion and extension of the arms.
    3) From a kneeling position, hands back fall forward, bending over with support on hands.
    4) From a standing position, legs wide apart, falling forward with support on hands. When falling, students should not touch the carpet with their chests, while it is necessary to bend their arms, absorbing the impact. Falling on straight arms is prohibited. The body should be kept straight.
  4. “Lying” wrestling techniques: elbow lever through the thigh. Favorable conditions: reception is carried out after holding from the side (the student is on the side). Holding the reception: grab the forearm of the attacked and press it to the thigh of the leg lying on the carpet so that the shoulder rests on the thigh, the forearm falls to the carpet between the legs. Smoothly unbend the arm until the signal is given (voice, claps on the mat with the other hand), if the wrestler lacks the strength of one hand to push the opponent's arm, help with the hip, increase pressure on the forearm of the extended arm.
  5. Conversation on the topic: "Methods for the development of strength." By strength, we mean the ability to produce movements with the help of muscle tension, to overcome any forces or to resist them. There are two main methods of developing strength: through dynamic and static exercises. dynamic exercises are performed by overcoming gravity, partner resistance, etc. They are characterized by relatively small loads (performed until fatigue, “to failure”, large loads are performed 1–3 times also until fatigue appears; after a short rest, 2–3 minutes, exercises repeated), changing loads. First, exercises with a small load are performed, then with medium and maximum. There may be another sequence. For example, doing exercises with maximum load(1-2 times), then with less, but with more repetitions.
Static exercises consist in counteracting any forces for a certain time. The trainee takes any position (angle, hanging, emphasis, etc.) and holds it for a certain time or seeks to lift the weight beyond his capabilities. Posture and weights should cause contraction of certain muscles.
The main means of developing strength include exercises with weights (barbell, weights, dumbbells) and weights ( own weight or partner's weight).
  6. “Standing” wrestling techniques: unbalancing with a jerk with the capture of the arm and neck. Favorable conditions: the opponent moves his legs incorrectly or becomes in a low stance (crosses his legs, puts one leg far, spreads his legs very widely, turns his shoulders strongly relative to the pelvic plane, transfers body weight to one leg, leans on the attacker with his hands).
Execution: the attacker jerks the opponent's weight onto one leg with a jerk. Turning in the direction of the dash, the attacker pushes the shoulder into the neck of the opponent, forcing him to fall with him. Twisting around the longitudinal axis.
  7. Self-defense techniques: release from the grip of the hand with the hand.
    1) From grasping with one hand the wrist of the opposite hand. The release is performed by jerking inside the attacker's thumb. First, you should rotate the hand so that the radius is in the gap between the thumb and the rest of the fingers of the opponent's hand.
    2) From grasping with one hand the wrist of the hand of the same name. It is performed by jerking outward towards the thumb where it connects with other fingers. The principle of release is the same as in the first case, only the direction of the jerk and the rotation of the hand change.

Warm-up exercises in motion.
Acrobatic exercises-somersaults forward.
Self-insurance when falling on its side.
Throw the back footboard.
Hand overturn.
Exercises to develop strength with a partner.

Warm-up exercises in motion allow you to improve in the ways of moving on the carpet and at the same time prepare the body for the load.

Exercise example:

  1. Walking on toes, on heels, toes in, toes out, on the inner and outer edge of the foot, in a half squat, in a full squat.
  2. Running backwards, sideways forward (side steps, with legs crossed), on all fours.
  3. Jumps on two legs, on one leg, with a turn in the air 180º and 360º.
  4. Walking with the rotation of the arms forward and backward.
  5. Walking with body twists.
  6. Alternate jumping and running.

Acrobatic exercises - somersaults forward. A forward roll from a place is performed in this way: putting your feet together and crouching, without spreading your knees, strongly bend your back and place your palms on the carpet. Slightly raising the pelvis, touch the carpet with the back of the head and, pushing off with the toes, roll forward along the back without straightening. While rolling on the back, bend the legs. Grab the shins with the brushes and press the heels to the buttocks.

The study of self-insurance when falling on its side begins with the mastery of the final position (grouping), in which they must come at the end of the throw. When the tuck is learned, it is necessary to learn how to quickly come to the tuck position from a prone position. Those involved make a clap with one hand on the carpet and pull their legs to their chest. At the same time, the leg. The hand of the same name, making cotton, should be bent, bent near the hand, the other leg should be placed approximately at the level of the middle of the lower leg of the lying leg.

Back footboard under the exposed leg.

Favorable conditions:

  1. The opponent puts forward a leg and pulls the attacker.
  2. The opponent stands on the attacked leg.

Preparation. With a sharp jerk, force the opponent to transfer weight to the attacked leg, to maintain balance, he leans back and reduces stability in the direction of the throw.

Conducting a reception. The attacker places his foot behind, between the legs of the opponent, resting against his popliteal crease with his popliteal crease. Straightening the leg and pushing it off the carpet, the attacker bends the opponent's near leg and drags him forward and to the side. When the opponent falls on his back, it is necessary to take a step forward with the other leg, support him and soften the fall.

Hand overturn. Favorable conditions: the opponent is on all fours, his arms not wide apart. Conducting a reception. Stand on the side of the partner on one knee (closer to his legs), grab his far shoulder with both hands. Pulling your arms towards you and pressing your shoulder into the side of the attacked, turn him over onto his back.

Exercises to develop strength with a partner.

  1. Angle in support (straight legs are raised above the mats at an angle of 30º).
  2. Holding and carrying a partner in your arms.
  3. Transferring a partner on the hip (on one then on the other).
  4. Twists of the torso in a tilt with a partner lying on the shoulders.
  5. Squats with a partner sitting (standing) on the shoulders.
  6. Flexion and extension of the arms while standing.

Implementation plan extracurricular activities wrestling among pupils of 5-11 grades.

  1. The class is divided into two equal teams.
  2. Each team has its own name and motto.
  3. Refereeing is carried out by the teacher and his assistant.
  4. Each stage of the competition has its own name.
  5. For each victory at the stage, 3 points are awarded, for a draw - 2 points, for a defeat - 1 point.
  1. “Knowledge” – the teams are simultaneously asked wrestling questions (rules of wrestling, first aid, injuries, hygiene, etc.). Within 3 minutes, teams must give the correct answer to each question. The team that answers the most questions wins.
  2. “Strength” - each member of the team in the lying position bends and unbends the arms the maximum number of times, the result is summed up. The team with the most repetitions wins.
  3. “Speed” - each member of the team participates in the relay race with the inclusion of acrobatic elements (somersaults forward, backward, side flip, etc.). The team with the shortest time wins.
  4. "Flexibility" - the teams take a "sitting" position with an emphasis on the elbows facing each other, the legs rise above the mat at an angle of 30º. The team with the last member left to keep their feet wins.
  5. “Rugby on the knees” - 5 people from each team take part in the game. Moving around the carpet on their knees and passing the ball to each other, the players try to bring it into the opponent's “home”. The team that makes the most "drifts" wins.
  6. "Throw" - the whole team takes part. Participants break up in pairs. In the allotted time, you need to complete the largest number of throws from a standing position. The team with the most throws wins.
  7. “Wall to wall” – the whole team participates. Lots are thrown. A member of each team wrestles in a standing position with a member of the other team until the first throw. The team that wins the most matches wins.

The team with the most points at all stages wins the competition.

Particular attention should be paid to the teacher teaching high school boys the elements of insurance and self-insurance. The teacher should remind them that the insurance when performing throws is aimed at ensuring that the young man:

a) supported the falling partner, softening the impact of his body on the wrestling mat;
b) when a partner fell, he directed him to a roll;
c) when performing throws, did not fall on a partner and did not step on him in case of loss of balance.

Falling back onto the back with a roll.

First, the position of the grouping is studied (Fig. 1). The student lies on his back, bends his legs and pulls his hips to his chest; puts his hands at an angle of 45 ° relative to the body, pressing his palms to the carpet; chin rests on the chest. The teacher invites the students to fix the position by making several times a clap on the carpet simultaneously with both hands (palms). Then they move on to mastering the fall onto the back with a roll. From a sitting position on the carpet, arms extended forward, legs tucked to the chest (Fig. 2), falling backwards onto the back, go to the grouping position. At the time of the roll, when the shoulder blades have not yet touched the carpet, you should simultaneously clap your hands on
carpet. After that, the teacher starts teaching the boys of the 10th grade to fall back onto their back from the position of a full squat of the arm forward (Fig. 3). Movements are performed in the same way as in the previous case. When the fall onto the back from a full squat position is studied, self-insurance is performed when falling onto the back from a standing position (Fig. 4). At the signal of the teacher, the young men quickly squat down and with a smooth roll over their backs, with their legs tucked to their chest, with a simultaneous clapping of both hands on the carpet, come to the final position. These skills will help the child in other sections, such as kickboxing training.

Typical mistakes:

A high school student claps his hands on the carpet after touching the carpet with his shoulder blades;

when rolling, the student rests his elbows on the carpet and clapping his hands on the carpet does not work.

Methodical instructions.

For warning and correction common mistakes the teacher of physical culture helps the young men to consolidate the technique of wrestler's self-insurance techniques by elements. If, during the roll, the wrestler rests his hands on the carpet, the clap will not work, since the student stops the roll prematurely by using the support with his hands. In turn, and this should be emphasized in the lesson, such a stop can lead to injury to the hands. If, after the clap, the student performs a somersault back over his head, this indicates that the movement of the hands to the clap was performed late. In these cases, it is necessary both to re-explain the teacher and show them the method of self-insurance, focusing the attention of those involved in the implementation of those elements in which mistakes were made.
