Course objectives
The purpose of physical education at school is to promote the comprehensive development of the individual through the formation of physical culture of the student's personality. The components of physical culture are: good health, good physical development, the optimal level of motor abilities, knowledge and skills in the field of physical culture, motives and mastered methods (Abilities) to carry out physical culture and sports activities.
The achievement of the goal of physical education is ensured by the solution of the following main tasks aimed at:
Strengthening health, promoting harmonious physical development;

Solving the problems of physical education, it is necessary to focus their activities on such important components as the education of value orientations for the physical and spirits, my personal development, the formation of students' needs and motives for systematic physical exercises, the education of moral and volitional qualities, the formation of humanistic relations, the acquisition of communication experience . Solving the problems of physical education of students is aimed at:
Promoting the comprehensive development of personality through the formation of physical culture of the student's personality.
Promoting harmonious physical development, strengthening the skills of correct posture, developing the body's resistance to adverse environmental conditions, cultivating value orientations towards a healthy lifestyle and personal hygiene habits;
Learning the basics of basic types motor actions;
Further development of coordination (orientation in space, restructuring of motor actions, speed and accuracy of response to signals, coordination of movements, rhythm, balance, accuracy of reproduction and differentiation of the main parameters of movements) and conditioning (speed-strength, speed, endurance, strength and flexibility) abilities;

When developing the work program, the methods of the “Presidential competitions” standards were taken into account, as well as the participation of the school in the territorial Spartakiad in traditional sports (basketball, volleyball, athletics, gymnastics).
The content of this work program with three learning lessons per week of basic general and secondary (full) education in physical culture is primarily aimed at fulfilling the federal component of the state standard of education in physical culture and, accordingly, at fulfilling the basic part of a comprehensive program in physical culture.
The content of the program material consists of two main parts: basic and variable (differentiated). Mastering the basic foundations of physical culture is objectively necessary and mandatory for every student. Without the basic component, successful adaptation to life in human society and the effective implementation of labor activity are impossible, regardless of what a young person would like to do in the future. The basic component forms the basis of the national standard of general education in the field of physical culture and does not depend on the regional, national and individual characteristics of the student.
Ski training (18 hours) is replaced by cross training due to lack of ski resort. Program material on the basics of knowledge about physical culture is mastered by students not in specially designated lessons, but in the course of mastering specific technical skills and abilities, developing motor qualities during the lesson. The variable part includes program material on sports games and athletics.
