Yoga exercises open all chakras. Subtle bodies and chakras

In the body of each person there are energy centers that are responsible for the manifestation of certain abilities and have a great influence on life, the sensual and emotional sphere of the individual.

If one of the chakras is closed or poorly developed, a person feels it - he cannot be realized in any area of life, or emotionally, that is, some traits that many attribute to character are missing.

In fact, a person's chakras can be stimulated by knowing their location and techniques for opening them. This can be done with simple methods at home, or you can develop the chakras through meditation, mantras and other practices. In the article we will consider the simplest and most effective ways.

The meaning of the word chakra

The vitality of the human physical body is supported by energy. In addition to the visible and tangible dense, each of the living has an energy body. It is made up of:

  • chakras (energy whirlwinds of a certain localization and frequency);
  • nadis (channels for moving the main energy flows);
  • aura (a field of energy penetrating and surrounding the physical body).

The word "chakra" is borrowed from Sanskrit, where it means "wheel, circle."

Bioenergetics depicts chakras as continuously rotating discs or funnels formed by the energies of various high frequency vibrations. The direction of movement of energy flows in neighboring chakras is opposite. With ordinary physical vision, they can be seen in Kirlian photographs that capture the electromagnetic field of living organisms.

Energy chakras in the human body

These mobile bundles of energy, like antennas, perform two main functions:

  • capture, hold, transform the energies of the surrounding space and the individual himself;
  • redistribute and radiate the energies of the physical body, spirit, mind and emotions.

In Hindu traditions, these energy formations are depicted as a lotus flower of various colors with an unequal number of petals. In accordance with the frequency of energy vibrations, they are painted in the colors of the rainbow spectrum - from red (first, lower) to purple (seventh, upper chakra).

The first five chakras are associated with the five basic elements:

  • earth (red, muladhara);
  • water (orange, svadhisthana);
  • fire (yellow, manipura);
  • air (green, anahata);
  • ether (blue, vishuddha).

The activity of certain chakras determines the temperament, character, abilities of the individual, the palette of his feelings. The activation of a certain energy center increases the potential of its capabilities, often opening up new, non-traditional abilities - siddhis (Skt.)

Projecting the etheric body onto the physical, we can say that the chakras are located along the spine. They are connected to each other by sushumna - a single energy channel, the projection of which on a dense plane is the spine.

Some of the yogic directions claim the connection of the chakras with the endocrine glands and plexuses of nerves. Therefore, the state of these energy whirlwinds directly affects the areas of the brain and spinal cord responsible for the endocrine system.

Age at which chakras begin to function

The functioning of each of the seven fundamental chakras determines different aspects of human realization. Their imbalance leads to diseases that eventually manifest themselves on physical plane. It is known that all the subtle bodies of a person are inextricably linked with the physical.

There is an opinion about the consistent opening of the chakras with age. Based on this,

  • muladhara begins to function from the age of 7;
  • svadhisthana from 14;
  • manipura from 21;
  • anahata from the age of 28.

The triple of lower energy vortices ensures the existence of the physical and etheric body of the individual, feeds his instincts and materialistic aspirations.

The upper ones, starting with vishuddha, have a direct connection with the astral body of a person. The energy frequency of their vibrations coincides with the lower limit of this body.

Chakra Properties

The word "chakra" in Sanskrit means literally "wheel, circle". Chakra is compared to a flower that has its own color, with many petals. The flower can be compressed, closed, folded into a bud, or it can bloom and open wide. The chakra can be coiled, but strong and strong, or it can be small and inconspicuous.

Chakras are a kind of antennas that receive and transmit inherent energies. The energy flow from the Earth through the lower chakras goes to the higher ones. Simultaneously with the flow of the Earth, under certain conditions, we are able to receive the energy flow of the Cosmos through the upper chakra, which flows to the lower chakras.

Chakras exist and develop in everyone. In ordinary people, they are in a passive state, but, like all living things, they have a tendency to develop and gradually become more active. There are many special practices and exercises that contribute to the rapid opening and activation of the chakras.

  1. In a healthy person, the chakras usually work to absorb energy.
  2. The patient or critical situation they can work to release energy.

The doctrine of the chakras is the basis of most schools of extrasensory perception, but since we are dealing with an underexplored area, there are many disagreements between different schools on this issue.

  • The chakras are associated with special properties of the human personality and behavior, that is, positive and negative character traits, its various abilities, and the activation of certain sense organs.
  • Chakras are directly connected with certain physical organs of a person, therefore each of the chakras is characterized by a certain effect on general state person.
  • The chakras are associated with the areas of the brain and spinal cord that control the endocrine system - the endocrine glands that produce hormones.
  • With a certain adjustment of the body, each hormone causes the appearance of superpowers of its type.

The main functions of the chakras are: providing the physical body with energy, connection with the corresponding subtle bodies, and hence with the corresponding Plans of Existence, the psychological interaction of a person with the environment, the fulfillment by a person of his tasks.

Types and description of chakras

In total, a person has 7 main energy centers. Their schematic arrangement is shown in the figure.

To understand what is required for the opening of the chakras, you need to know the purpose of each energy center. Let's briefly talk about the meaning of each of them, and about when disclosure is necessary.

Muladhara makes you survive

The physical body is animal nature. The body is connected to the earth, and the function of the first chakra is to survive. Muladhara contains the primordial instincts: to eat, to dress, to hide, to defend. Sexual desire at this level is primitive - the desire to procreate, like in animals.

A developed mulakhara helps to connect with the earth in the global sense of the word. If you arrive at a new place and feel strong energy, it means that the place charges you, and you will receive even more energy. There are places that take away energy. They must be avoided.

How to understand if a chakra is balanced?

  1. If you constantly feel danger, then this is the first sign of imbalance.
  2. The threat of loss of shelter, restrictions on food or clothing are what will make the muladhara manifest so strongly that you cannot even think of anything else.
  3. When you are very hungry, you will no longer be interested in whether you like the dish, you will eat it with great pleasure.
  4. That's how powerful the first chakra is - it turns off all your whims just to keep you alive.

The imbalance of the first chakra is a constantly generated fear of a lack of vital things. While you are producing this fear, you can forget about working on the rest of the chakras. It is impossible to think about music when the stomach is empty.

The endless search for safety is not an option. But, by the way, that's what we do - we are constantly looking for security. You can stock up on food for several months in advance, buy an expensive alarm system, save money to the point of absurdity. When protection goes beyond reason, you can be sure that your fear controls you.

No external defenses will help you allay this fear. You need to work with the realization that you are always under the protection of higher powers. Achieve this by searching for inner peace, prayer, meditation. The belief that higher powers will protect you, no matter what, inspires you so much that you calm down internally and can already act further.

Svadhishthana teaches pleasure

The second orange chakra is the search for pleasure. It governs the desire to be liked, to maintain one's attractiveness, to feel and experience a range of emotions. Feelings are her professional area.

If muladhara is focused on maintaining life, then svadhishthana requires that you also enjoy it.

When the chakra is out of balance, you will not only seek rewarding experiences, but you will also experience sensations that destroy you.

  • The danger lies in the fact that svadhishthana is always hungry. She is insatiable and so are you.
  • In the red chakra - it is fear, in the orange - gluttony.
  • You can easily cross the fine line from love to lust, from enjoying food to gluttony, etc.

Salvation is in the management of pleasures. Learn to immerse yourself in pleasures in order to be fed up with them, to feel the pleasure of every cell of the body, otherwise it will turn into a destructive addiction. When the chakra is balanced, any experience turns into sensual pleasure, which means there is something to wake up for.

Svadhishthana is the place of addictions. It is impossible to fight with them, but it is also impossible to put up with them, otherwise total destruction. Meditation allows you to accept destructive desires, fully aware of them.

One of the traps of addiction is unawareness. Pleasure without it plunges you into bliss, a dream from which you don’t want to get out. You don't give up a pleasant experience, but you don't become a slave to it, rather, you are in co-creation with it.

If the state of your second chakra is unbalanced, then you will always seek pleasure, but this run will not end in any way, because you will not reach the goal - feeling. Problems with excessive absorption of destructive substances or actions always indicate an imbalance in svadhishthana.

Excessive expressiveness and irascibility with negative consequences for oneself and others is another manifestation of imbalance.

Manipura empowers

The third chakra is the place where principles and beliefs are born. With their help, the power of influencing oneself and others in a certain key of life is accumulated. It is Manipura who says "no" or "yes" if you are offered a new solution. An inability to refuse or agree is a sure sign of a chakra imbalance.

  • The influence of the outside world is limitless, but a developed manipura protects you from aggressiveness. With a developed will, you will not be led by those who dream of enslaving you.
  • The development of self-control is the main direction of work with the yellow chakra. It depends on it whether you will be able to stop in pleasure and whether you can survive as a person under pressure.

The imbalance of manipura threatens either with excessive use of one's strength, or with weak will.

  1. In the first case, you drive yourself into the framework of constant combat readiness, expecting a new trick from life.
  2. In the second, you will follow the lead of others, because of which you will lose your own guidelines.

For the yellow chakra, the danger is adrenaline addiction, when you constantly assert yourself, achieve small aggressive victories and this generates a constant rush of adrenaline. The hormone causes a powerful surge of energy and now you can no longer do without this dope. Meanwhile, close people suffer next to you, and you yourself cannot find your place in life while you are fighting with people who are unequal in energy.

Anger

Anger is something you have to deal with. He will very often interfere with your attempts to balance.

  1. As for the second extreme point of imbalance - weak will - the role of the victim is also fatal.
  2. You constantly feel guilty, you cannot refuse, you curry favor with others in order to stay in your place.
  3. A sense of helplessness rules your life, and with such baggage, goals cannot be realized.
  4. If you want to be good to everyone and always, then you need to work with the third chakra.

Find that delicate balance between being overly strong will and its complete absence is possible only within oneself. Listen to your heart when you are trying to figure out whether you need to push or, on the contrary, let go of the reins. If you rely on logical principles, you will fall into a trap. No one will tell you how to do it right, these answers are always inside.

Anahata will ask you to love

Until now, at the level of the three chakras, we have felt our loneliness. Birth in the material world, the search for pleasure and the manifestation of the will to bend, in the good sense of the word, your life line. At the level of the green chakra of love, we feel unity with the world.

Love is the driving force that directs a person to get what he has planned. Only if you turn off fear and let love rule the mind, you can achieve the goal.

  • If you manage to find balance at the level of the fourth chakra, you will thereby balance the material and spiritual aspects of your life.
  • Anahata is the meeting place of collective and personal consciousness.

There is nothing selfish in true love, it is the love of a mother for a child - to give everything and not demand something in return. Awakened anahata allows you to rejoice in the little things, realizing the big.

Love

When you are driven by love, you no longer see the surrounding enemies, you no longer defend yourself, but seek co-creation.

  1. Signs of an imbalance in the fourth chakra are sentimentality.
  2. It is very easy for such people to break their hearts, and this divides them.
  3. There is no balance in the desire to give, secretly wanting a good relationship in return.

When love becomes a need, you forget your own source of love and look for it in others. But this is a road to nowhere. Even if all the people of the world tell about their love for you, you will still be hungry, because true love is only inside.

You can work with the green chakra through meditation, but look around - how many situations teach you balance. They play with you on sympathy, force you to open up, lose trust, feel abandoned. Going through trials and not getting angry is the path to balance in the area of the heart chakra.

Vishuddha says: create

The sky blue chakra teaches creativity. It is not necessary to be an artist or connect life with show business in order to reveal the original potential in yourself. You may be a machinist, but by truly loving your work, you will bring something new and important to it - you will make a small discovery.

This is a way to tell the world about your Self and manifest it. But none of this can be achieved if you deny your own uniqueness.

  • The inability to manage the fifth chakra leads to stagnation of energy and this destroys all potential. Anxiety, nervousness, lack of control - all these are concomitant factors of wasted energy.
  • Creation is the ability to ride energy and express yourself in a piece of clay. If you feel that "it" is fine, you have succeeded. When you cope with the flow of energy, you are illuminated, inspiration comes and the Universe writes books through you, plays music, improves the life of the planet and not in order to live safer, but because it is good.

Creativity is always there. Thoughts, ideas - all this hangs over you right now and is just waiting for you to grab onto and materialize something beautiful. But the purpose of the fifth chakra is not only to create for the sake of pleasure, but to encourage others to take quantum leaps of consciousness. When you lead by example, it infects people to do the same. The collective consciousness moves through the Cosmos on the way of its development with such small steps when you make something beautiful.

Space

This is why work that is not enjoyable breeds unhappiness. You are not following your own path, you are not doing what you would like, what you are striving for. This is your Self telling you that it's time to turn on the right road.

  1. The imbalance of the fifth chakra is the indulgence of the established when it is time to take the next step.
  2. This is a humble agreement with your father when he orders you to study law, and you secretly dream of writing poetry.
  3. You need to understand that you can and that the Universe will not leave you without support if you go your own way, so scary at first glance, untrodden and probably dangerous, but that's the beauty of it.

Ajna knows there is magic

The blue chakra will never agree with the gray reality. She sees all the creativity, knows how much amazing is hiding around and constantly reminds you of this. The imbalance is read in the desire to go into the world of dreams, to reach heights not in this reality, leaving the material world unattended.

We will always strive to see God, this cannot be taken away from us, but if we make fanatical zeal out of aspiration, then a bias arises and now you are not serving God at all.

The main task of ajna is to discipline the spiritual will. In some ways, this is similar to the development of the will at the level of the third chakra, but there you work with the material world, and here - with the spiritual one.

Spiritual will is the ability to control reality. You materialize what you want exactly at this level, controlling higher matters. To be able to direct your creative energy mentally is a great art, this is real magic.

For most people, their own imagination is the real enemy, a very dangerous one. You yourself probably know that bad things will surely follow, and these are all programs that you launch with your own creative energy.

By reaching the development of the third eye, you influence reality. Do not think that it is so inaccessible, it is only unconscious, but everyone has it in one way or another. So, having this power, but suffering from fears, you can do those other things.

Sahasrara - pure spirituality

The seventh chakra is cosmic energy, the intention of incarnation.

The danger of imbalance destroys the minds of people. It is said that enlightened people who stumble or want to achieve results too quickly end up in psychiatric hospitals. This once again proves that you need to move forward, listening to the heart and the Higher Mind, and not to your own ego.

  • Having achieved balance at the level of the seventh chakra, one can hear God within oneself, and this is an eternal and pure source of correct answers, fearlessness and the true path.
  • It makes no sense to talk too much about the development of this chakra; achieving the balance of the sahasrara lies in balancing the previous six chakras.

So, the human chakras and their opening and purification is not only meditation and reading mantras, but also work with life situations, self-development, each new decision. The better you understand your everyday life, the calmer you become internally.

Chakra work for the lazy

To activate and purify the energy of the subtle body, surround yourself with certain symbolic objects and bring into your mind the belief that they really have the ability to purify and energize. You can call it the placebo effect or self-hypnosis - the main result.

The method is ideal for real sloths, it definitely stimulates them to start the process of updating from making changes to the outside world. After all, a person has the ability to both create and absorb the energy of the outside world and the surrounding objects of everyday life. Let's start!

Cloth

Wear solid colors in the color of the chakra and with its symbolic image. It is not necessary to do this daily. You can simply prepare a separate wardrobe for yoga and meditation.

Interior

Fill your home with items that are associated with chakras, enlightenment, life force - paintings, dream catchers, mandalas, pleasant fabrics, carpets.

crystals

Each chakra has its own stone, corresponding to its color and energy.

  • The first chakra is jasper;
  • the second is carnelian;
  • the third is a tiger's eye;
  • the fourth is malachite;
  • fifth - aquamarine;
  • sixth - amethyst;
  • the seventh is rock crystal.

If the body does not accept the crystal, this is evidence of the unsatisfactory work of the energy center.

sacred images

Henna drawings depicting oriental symbols allow you to get closer to peace, tune in to work with inner feelings, experiences, delusions.

You can draw them yourself, ask friends for help, or apply chakra symbols with special stamps.

Listening to monotonous music will make it easier to fall into a trance state and stop the flow of thoughts.

It can be a recording of monks singing mantras, the sound of a shaman tambourine, singing metal bowls, or any other melody that helps to separate from the material world, to feel deep feelings.

Opening the chakra through meditation and practice

How to open the chakras yourself with the help of pranayama

If you are interested in how to open the chakras yourself, pranayamas will be useful to you. These are special breathing exercises practiced by yogis. Their peculiarity lies in the fact that they are aimed not only at the physical, but also at the subtle, energy body of a person.

To work with the chakras, square pranayama is traditionally practiced.

  • Starting position - lotus, half lotus, sitting in Turkish or Siddhasana.
  • You need to breathe with full yogic breathing, inhale for four counts, hold your breath on inhalation for four counts, exhale for four counts, immediately after it, inhale again.
  • Each of the energy centers has one respiratory cycle. The exercise is repeated three times.

Starting from the lower energy center, the Muladhara chakra, one should concentrate the energy at the appropriate points. At the same time, it is necessary to feel in their area what corresponds to the activation and disclosure of each of them:

  1. Muladhara - warmth, sometimes a slight heat.
  2. Svadhisthana - each person can describe the feeling of working on Svadhisthana in his own way. Sometimes it is just a feeling of warmth, and sometimes something similar to sexual arousal.
  3. Manipura - pulsation, similar to the pulse.
  4. Anahata - the pulsation of the heart becomes louder and more distinct.
  5. Vishuddha - warmth and pulsation.
  6. Ajna - pulsation behind the frontal bone, a feeling of fullness.
  7. Sahasrara - pulsation in the upper part of the skull.

Square pranayama can be done in combination with other yoga exercises, such as cleansing breathing and many others. To some extent, all pranayamas have a positive effect on the state of energy, like most yoga techniques, they are aimed not only at the development of the physical body. Yoga for the development of the chakras is useful for both the body and the spirit.

Opening chakras using yantras

One of the answers to the question of how to harmonize the chakras and contribute to their opening can be yantras. Each energy center of a person corresponds to a certain yantra - a sacred geometric symbol. Yantras are used by Buddhists in meditation.

  1. Using them is very easy - you can open the image on a computer, or you can print it, or buy a higher quality image in an esoteric store.
  2. For about 15 minutes, you should contemplate the chakra symbolism, abandoning extraneous thoughts.
  3. You can combine work with yantras with breathing exercises.

Each chakra corresponds to certain problems in life, and contemplating the yantras, you can get rid of them. Muladhara Yantra will help get rid of fear, anxiety and paranoid tendencies. In addition, it awakens the Kundalini energy and has a beneficial effect on other points of energy concentration.

  • Contemplation of the Swadhisthana yantra allows you to work out problems in the sexual sphere on a subtle level. But this does not mean that you will get rid of them completely.
  • Manipura Yantra energizes and tones the body. It is useful to use it before complex rituals that require a lot of energy. This yantra helps to fight diseases with the forces of the body, tune in to difficult work and increase working capacity.
  • Anahata Yantra helps in developing the ability to give and receive love. It has a beneficial effect on this point, cleansing and opening it. This helps to perceive the world as less hostile, as well as learn to communicate with people, while enjoying it.
  • Yantra Vishuddhi develops creativity, and it is not only about self-expression through art. It could be an innovative business idea or fresh housekeeping solutions. In addition, one who contemplates the Vishuddhi yantra will learn to express his thoughts clearly and will find harmony with the Universe.

  • Sri Yantra is formed by the mutual intersection of triangles in two directions: four points upward, symbolizing the masculine principle, and five points downward, symbolizing the feminine principle.
  • Contemplation of the Ajna yantra can open the ability to clairvoyance. People who are interested in the development of spirituality or dream of becoming psychics cannot do without it. Yantra has a beneficial effect not only on the state of Ajna, but also on the human energy system as a whole.
  • There is Sri Yantra, which is considered universal when working with energy. Her image contains the symbolism and colors of all human energy centers. Contemplation of this yantra has a beneficial effect on the subtle body and energy flows of a person.

How to open the chakras - work on yourself

Few people know how to harmonize the chakras without oriental attributes, meditations and yoga techniques. This can be done simply by working on yourself, eliminating your own shortcomings and getting rid of psychological problems.

  • Traditionally, work on energy recovery begins with bottom point , Muladhara.
  • Only after you complete the work completely, you can move on to the next energy center located above.

As a rule, conscientious work with one chakra takes at least a week.

Muladhara is blocked by fear. In order to remove the block, you need to look your fear in the eye and overcome it. Deal with your fears and let them go.

Svadhisthana blocks the feeling of guilt. Listen to yourself and you will find this hidden feeling. Analyze it, understand what situation your fault is connected with. Think about the situation, forgive yourself and let go of the feeling you don't need.

Manipura is blocked by prejudice. Analyze your worldview and say goodbye to them.

Anahata requires positive thinking, learning compassion and love for people, developing kindness and cordiality.

Vishuddha is blocked by lies. Learn to tell the truth, do not deceive yourself and other people. This does not mean that you have to share your secrets. You can refuse to talk about anything you wish to keep private. Either shut up or tell the truth.

Ajna is blocked as a result of living in illusions and not accepting yourself or any situations that have happened in your life. Learn to properly evaluate yourself and your capabilities. See the world as it is without creating illusions.

Sahasrara is blocked by excessive attachment to the material. But this does not mean that you should throw away all things and go to the monastery.

  1. If you have lost a thing or value that is dear to you, let it go in peace.
  2. No need to get depressed because of a broken phone or money loss.
  3. Think about how you could avoid this in the future, do not focus on the negative.

How to unblock chakras through meditation

So, how to open the chakras through meditation and energy exercises?

  1. The first thing to learn - stop internal dialogue. This skill comes with practice.
  2. The second is visualization, without which early stages it is very difficult to work with energy flows. It is better to work with one energy point, after eliminating problems with it, move on to another.

The easiest way to work with a person's chakras and open them up is to channel the energy into the chakra for it to grow and heal. This is done in the process of meditation. Accept comfortable posture and imagine the movement of energy into the area where there are problems.

If you have problems with the supply of personal forces, for which Manipura is responsible, you need a source of energy.

  • For believers who are directly related to the Christian egregor, the church is best suited.
  • It is quite possible to meditate in a church, the rest of those present will think that you are reading a prayer to yourself.
  • In this case, you need to ask God for energy for healing and growth of the chakras.
  • You can go to another place of power, which may be a river bank, a forest, and other places that make you sympathetic. In this case, you need to ask for the help of the forces of nature.

Mental conversation with the chakra is also a type of meditation. Take a comfortable position and visualize the energy node with which you will communicate. Try to feel it. It can be warm or slightly cool, sometimes there is a vibration, there are other sensations - the main thing is that they be. After that, tell the chakra about your desires, plans for the future. Put only positive emotions into this monologue.

During meditation, you can chant and listen to mantras. There are special mantras for the chakras that help in their cleansing and opening. These are healing sounds that have a positive effect on a person’s well-being in a subtle way.

The stones and scents associated with each chakra will also be helpful and should not be underestimated. Music for harmonizing the chakras, as experts say, helps a lot in such meditations.

Asanas for opening the chakras

Each chakra has its own particular asana.

Newcomers to the world of yoga are often eager to find special to open the chakras. In fact, all asanas and pranayamas contribute to the development of the subtle body of a person. Yoga is aimed at improving and developing both the physical body and the energy structure, and even the growth of spirituality.

However, there are still asanas that correspond to the seven chakras of a person. They are performed strictly according to the instructions written by the author with a good reputation. During the performance of such asanas, it is necessary to concentrate on the chakras to which they correspond:

  1. Muladhara - Bandrasana, or butterfly pose.
  2. Svadhisthana - Pashchimotasana.
  3. Manipura - Navasana, or hanging.
  4. Anahata - Gomukhasana, or cow pose.
  5. Vishuddha - Ushtrasana.
  6. Ajna - Matsyendrasana.
  7. Sahasrara - Shirshasana or headstand.

It is advisable to perform asanas to open the chakras in combination with other yoga asanas and pranayamas. There are many complexes compiled by experienced yogis. They are designed for different health conditions and fitness levels.

Cleansing the chakras yourself - a selection of methods

Cleaning the chakras yourself with the help of hands can be carried out if you already have such experience. Usually such methods are used by healers and psychics. You must be able to feel the energy with your hands, which comes with experience for almost everyone. In order to cleanse the chakras, you need to feel with your hands the area where the negative is located, and extract it by scattering it in the air or sending it to the ground.

Chakra cleansing with runes is extremely popular. The method is relatively simple, since it does not require the ability to see auras or feel the energy of a person. But here experience in working with runes is desirable, and it is the use of runes in magic that is meant, and not divination on them.

The runic becoming "Chakra Pillar" quite quickly and gently removes blocks from the chakras - both those formed by the person himself, and those that appeared as a result of damage and other magical interventions. But there is also a drawback - this becoming will remove the protection if you set it, as well as the influence of other staves, recently performed rites, and much more.

How to use runes to cleanse the chakras?

  1. Staves can be glued with plaster on the chakra areas and drawn with a marker or henna.
  2. You can apply runes on a photo of a person who needs to clean the chakras.
  3. If unpleasant physical symptoms are present during the cleansing, this means that there are serious blockages in the chakras.
  4. These symptoms should not be scary, they indicate the beginning of cleansing and unblocking of energy centers.

In general, the development of the chakras is available to everyone. This process will not require much effort from you. There are methods developed Indian yogis and sages who will help to make progress. In order to get rid of the blocks, the chakras must be cleansed using runes or other methods. Cleansing and opening of the chakras is necessary for both a novice magician and an ordinary person who is concerned about his energy health.

Chakra restoration

For a person, healthy chakras are of great importance, therefore, if damaged, they need to be restored and sometimes even treated. Remember that this is of no small importance.

  • Stand facing east, relax, focus on your breathing.
  • Draw the following picture in your head: your body is surrounded by an energy cocoon with two openings - from below and from above.
  • Picture in your mind an energy beam that enters through the bottom and penetrates the body through the feet, reaching Muladhara. Stop, feel the warmth and pulsations in it.
  • Feel - the energy rises, stop at each center and mentally activate it.
  • The energy beam must destroy all blocks encountered on the way.
  • Pay attention to your feelings, feel how the energy spreads through the body, saturating each of its organs with warmth.

Your task is the unimpeded movement of energy to the Sahasrara itself. Many people draw pictures in their head of, so to speak, unnecessary items, perceiving them as a certain problem or failure. Imagine that all the negativity destroys the energy beam.

Exercises for opening the chakras, their purification and harmonization contribute to a positive perception of the world, health, mental stability, the ability to overcome difficulties without destroying oneself. But all this is possible only with the use of proven techniques and a great desire to know yourself and look for your own path.

Opening the chakras is the creation of a flow of energy between the chakras.

Chakra Opening:

  1. It makes the human body more viable, since an actively working chakra has a beneficial effect on the organs of the physical body adjacent to it, harmonizing their activity.
  2. It raises the moral, ethical and spiritual level of a person. At the same time, the higher the chakra is located, the higher the moral, ethical and spiritual level a person reaches as a result of its disclosure.
  3. Reveals psychic abilities(siddhis). The type of these abilities depends on the disclosure of certain chakras.

Opening the chakras- enough difficult process requiring many months of practice. In addition, care is needed when working with the chakras (an uncontrolled flow of energy between them can damage them), so the monk Romanatha, as part of our school, conducted a course of lectures on chakra yoga, thanks to which you can easily and safely work on opening your chakras.

Monk Ramanatha - How to open the chakras with the help of shat chakra yoga

Text version of the lecture:

Ramanatha: Namaste! We are starting a series of shat chakra yoga classes. What is the place of chakras in our life? What is the relationship between the state of the chakras, the state of our health, the state of internal energy, the state of the emotional background, the state of our consciousness? From the point of view of shat chakra yoga, there is a completely direct connection. Why? Because the state in which our chakras are, how open they are, how awakened their potential, this is how we see the world around us, this is how we perceive the world around us qualitatively. Because the surrounding world is a projection of our consciousness, and more specifically, a projection of our energy body. Actually, the external world, the surrounding reality, everything that surrounds us in our life, is wholly and completely a projection of our consciousness, is a more coarsened image; that is, we see in the surrounding life exactly what we have inside as subtle imprints. Where are these prints located? in subtle bodies.

Chakras are phenomena of the non-physical world. Yes, the energy of the chakras governs the phenomena of the external world, But where to look for the chakras? Chakras are sought at the energy level - pranamaya kosha and the astral level - manomaya kosha. When they talk about concentration on the chakras, they mostly concentrate either on the energy components of the chakras, or on the astral ones. That is, it is either a visualization of the chakra - the attributes of the chakra, deities of the chakra, flowers - or a concentration on the sensations of the chakra. These are two components related to the energy and astral bodies. What is the essence of shat chakra yoga? Why focus on the chakras? Why open chakras? Where it leads? There is a direct connection between the presence of free energy in the chakras and how this energy manifests itself in the relative world, is projected onto our physical body, manifests itself as our health or illness. If the circulation of energy is blocked, if there are obstacles to the circulation of energy, then diseases appear or we experience some kind of obstacles in relative life. What is the way out? By changing our energy state inside, we change the state of health and change the world around us. From the point of view of shat-chakra yoga (opening the chakras), it is not necessary to change something in the surrounding world - a relative dimension. If there is a problem in relative life or an unresolved situation, you need to understand which chakra it refers to (or to the totality of chakras). You just need to collect more energy in the chakra so that it becomes more freely circulating, and life's obstacles and problems are solved by themselves. Up to the point that we may not even make any strong efforts to unleash the situation. Either the unleashing of the situation will go as if by itself: the circumstances themselves will develop, the people themselves will come, knowledge will come, money will come .. that is, the situation will begin to unfold, unleash.

What are chakras and what is their connection with the outer five elements? All that is solid, all that is gross is the earth element, the muladhara chakra is responsible for this. If there are any difficulties with solid objects in relative life: the physical body, bones, or material objects, land, real estate, rootedness in life - the muladhara chakra is responsible for all this. If something of this is missing or there is some kind of imbalance, you need to align the earth element, that is, the Muladhara Chakra.

Svadhisthana-chakra is responsible for flexibility, fluidity, playfulness, creativity - this is the element of water. And if something is missing in our life, there is not enough flexibility - to respond flexibly to the challenges of fate, to be fluid, if there is not enough sociability, sociability, if there are not enough creative impulses, then there is an underdevelopment of the svadhisthana-chakra, which means that the element of water in the body is missing. What to do? You need to concentrate on the svadhisthana chakra, thus increasing the amount of water elements in your body. When one speaks of an increase in one or another element in the body, the pranic level is primarily meant, that is, it is the prana of water. It's not that we consume more water, although there is a connection between these phenomena. But the stability of the elements is given precisely by the presence of one or another prana - prana of the earth, prana of water, etc.

The next element, the fire element, is the manipura chakra. What is the connection? Manipura is our will. Sometimes they say: a fiery person is a strong-willed person. This is an actively working manipura chakra. Luxury, material wealth, material prosperity - all this directly depends on the manipura chakra. There are people who are simply attracted to wealth. Why? Because this is how their manipura chakra works, it works like a magnet to the material energy. And some people just need to make a little effort, show some kind of will, intention and material energy turn their faces towards them, it flows towards them like a direct river. Other people work hard, show their will, but the material energy responds weakly. Why? Everything is determined by the power of the manipura chakra. It is believed that a person who concentrates on the manipura chakra even begins to see with subtle vision wealth, luxurious images - palaces, jewelry, jewelry. Also, the manipura chakra is responsible for the astral body, a person who has a developed manipura chakra easily distinguishes the astral body.

The next element is the element of wind - anahata chakra. The wind is mobility, mobility, it is the ability to quickly change circumstances. WITH psychological point the anahata chakra is responsible for our spiritual quality, that is, when they say: a person is sincere, loving, kind, compassionate. This is a manifestation of the anahata chakra, a pure manifestation of the chakra. The wind element is a magical element, that is, if we want to control the outside world magically, convey some information to the outside world in a magical way, then this is the wind element. For example, the power of mantras when we whisper or speak is based on the fact that we activate the wind through speech. It is known that mantras work, that is, mantras change the outside world in a magical way. The same - prayers, conspiracies.

The next element is space - vishuddha chakra. This is the ability of a phenomenon to spread in all directions, to expand. A person who has a developed vishuddha chakra has a lot of space inside, he has a large-scale thinking, sometimes he is like a man of the world. If he is engaged in business, then he is very mobile, he has a developed network, or he has many branches of his business in various parts of the country or abroad. And if this is a practicing sadhu, then such a sadhu can have many friends - spiritual practitioners. He easily feels unattached almost anywhere: he has housing or not, if his clothes are either not very good, comfortable conditions or uncomfortable, that is, he feels good almost everywhere. Why? Because there is a lot of space inside him and external circumstances do not constrain him at all. The element of space - vishuddha chakra - is also associated with the phenomenon of time. If we learn to collect energy in the vishuddha chakra, we will have a lot of it and we will be able to manage time, that is, we will be able to compress time or stretch it. Sometimes people say they don't have enough time, but that's always very subjective. Some people manage to do a lot of things at the same time, subjectively live a very long time. great experience. Other people do not have enough and a huge amount of time even for one thing. Why is that? Because that's how the vishuddha chakra works. If there is not enough space inside, then it is too tight, too narrow, and a person is simply not able to unfold his will, to live some kind of experience. If there is a lot of space inside, a person is able even for a short time experience a lot.

Ajna Chakra no longer refers to the five elements, sometimes it is called the "sixth element". Ajna Chakra is the element of consciousness. Consciousness controls our life, as they say - everything is a manifestation of consciousness and the five elements - the five chakras are a manifestation of the principle of consciousness. The Ajna Chakra is responsible for the intellect, for intuition, for thinking, for mindfulness, for awareness, for wakefulness.

The seventh chakra - sahasrara is identified with the supreme source, that is, the principle of God, the principle of the divine. The Sahasrara Chakra is the door to the beyond, to insight, that is, it no longer relates to the personality, it is already a superpersonal dimension, it is the way out of the personality. This is a channel, a door of exit beyond the ego, beyond limitations, this is the exit from samsara to nirvana. And this exit occurs through the Sahasrara Chakra.

There is a whole section and very detailed, very detailed, for which aspects of this or that part of life this or that chakra is responsible, how to practice specifically to achieve certain results. In this course, we will deal with the foundation, the base. We will learn the most important and basic things - the ability to open the chakra, find it and learn to place our consciousness, that is, to concentrate our consciousness on the chakra. This is the power of the shat chakra yoga method. The method is based on the fact that by concentrating on the chakra, we thus collect energy there. It is believed that energy moves behind awareness - where our consciousness is, there the freely circulating energy gathers; no matter how much we have, we have it, because we are alive, we live. When we meditate, we concentrate on the chakra, the energy gathers at a point and begins to displace karmic blocks, karmic restrictions from the chakra. There is more energy in the chakra and the chakra blossoms. It can flourish so much that it begins to fill the whole body. That is, if it is an element of water, the prana of water begins to circulate through the physical body, bringing the energy of bliss, and begins to nourish, saturate the energy of the body. Similarly, with other elements - prana of the earth, prana of fire, prana of the wind, prana of space. Throughout the upcoming classes, we will awaken the energy of our chakras step by step, we will learn how to activate the energy of the chakras. To do this, we will perform certain exercises, which are called anga chakras.

Often, most people do not feel their chakras and do not see the point in opening, feeling their chakras, unlocking their potential and learning to collect the energy of the chakras. Because they do not know any positive benefits, advantages in this art. We live in an age where we know too much, we can read a lot about chakras now, but what can we say about our own chakras? How do I feel my mooladhara chakra? How do I manage chakra energy? How do I manage my health with the power of the mooladhara chakra? Often this is simply an unknown topic for us, beyond the control of our mind. We do not know how to manage external life, our state of health, balance energy, emotional background with the help of the power of the chakras. This is a certain art that requires understanding, a certain motivation, clarification and consistent methodical practice. Actually, in this course we will learn how to work out each chakra in detail, learn how to find the chakra, feel it, feel it not only during practice, but feel it in Everyday life. A little later - to feel the chakras of other people, to feel the pranic state of another person. If you devote a lot of time to concentration on the chakras, do it professionally, then you can realize superpowers. Yogis who have achieved the ability to walk on water, not burn in fire, reduce or increase the weight of their body and even fly through the air - all this they have achieved with the help of the power of control over their elements, their charms. That is, you need to understand the potential for the development of your inner abilities, the potential for the development of your chakras.

In the beginning, we can balance our health with the power of our chakras, balance our small life situations. It is believed that 95% of diseases, with the exception of almost only those that require gross surgical intervention, that is, 95% of diseases can be cured by the power of the energy of the chakras. Why? Because… what is disease? It is first an imbalance in the energy level; the energy body undergoes deformation due to an astral breakdown or a distorted way of thinking - impure thinking. Or the impure thoughts of other people. The energy body is deformed, the energy stagnates and physical level a failure occurs - a disease. What does shat chakra yoga do? We learn to release energy, because all the energy channels from which our energy body is woven are closed on the chakras. Chakras are knots, and when we collect energy in a chakra, we give strength to the channels that are associated with that chakra; we seem to fill, nourish the channels associated with it. Energy is released from these channels and the disease goes away, resolves until complete healing. The question here is only about the effort made, dedicated to the time of the shat chakra yoga. We believe that shat chakra yoga is the most reliable investment; a person who devotes himself for several years to shat-chakra yoga is his capital, which he will use while he exists in this physical body. And if he works his chakras very well, then this potential of pure channels, pure chakras lays in a more favorable rebirth of the next life, more healthy body, a better fate.

Therefore, starting from the very basics, we will work on each of the chakras in each lesson in this course: look for a chakra and learn to concentrate on it. The purpose of this course is to get a taste, learn to concentrate, collect your consciousness - the focus of attention in the chakra, so that later on at any time you can do shat-chakra yoga - concentration on the chakras. Another purpose of this course is that you can periodically listen to these sessions and be inspired in your practice. Because in our time there is often not enough instruction, there is not enough inspiring external energy in order to be motivated to practice.

So, I wish you success and invite you to join the shat chakra yoga course. Namaste!

FIFTH
the chakra, the cervical center, is located at the base of the neck. It governs the neck, throat and vocal cords. When this chakra awakens, we discover qualities of deep peace and a sense of expansion of consciousness.

We speak of the SIXTH chakra as having two "poles". One pole - located at a point between the eyebrows, in the spiritual eye. This place
enlightenment, intuition, joy and.

The other pole is located in the medulla oblongata, at the base of the brain. It regulates breathing and is the primary entry point for prana (life force) into the body. It is also the location of the personality, the little "I", and therefore this pole is associated with the quality of self-giving.

In fact, each chakra has two poles, like a magnet. But the poles of the sixth chakra are so distinct that we can think of them as two different chakras.

The SEVENTH chakra, or crown, is located at the top of the head. It is the place of union with the Divine, the merging of the little self with the higher self, the ultimate goal of all spiritual quest.

Taught that in order to achieve this goal,
we must first collect all our life force into the spiritual eye, so all further recommendations for opening the chakras will focus on increasing magnetism at the point between the eyebrows.

Each chakra works with a specific vibration of energy, a vibration that can be expressed either positively or negatively. By "positive" and "negative" should be understood not as "good" and "bad", but as the positive and negative poles of the magnet. The difference is simply a matter of direction.

Positive direction helps us realize our true nature as children of God. The negative direction takes us away from it, making us more and more identified with the things of this world.

Audio from the video about chakras with a little addition:

Each of the chakras has an emotional and psychological component, and also each of the chakras is associated with a certain element.

More information about the properties of the chakras can be obtained from this table:

All areas of yoga, starting with the present, all true spiritual paths in one way or another work to activate positive traits chakras and redirect the energy flowing from them inward and upward.
In today's Western world, many yoga practitioners, especially in the Kundalini Yoga and Kriya Yoga schools, practice many mechanical and physical breathing exercises for the purpose of opening the chakras and raising the kundalini.

As the great Yogi Vivikananda said:

“Do yoga in any case, even if you die along the way, then this aspiration will allow you to be born again in good conditions for practice and you will continue more wisely.”

However, in order not to make a long pause for the painful years of the growth of consciousness in infancy, it is better to do everything right at once.

And the correct approach is the most careful approach to working with chakras.

The ethereal-astral body, chakras and kundalini are the registry in the computer. The child can hit the keys, the computer will freeze, but by restarting it, we can continue to work on it. The physical body can endure drinking, partying and harmful products, it’s just that instead of 150 years, 70 will live, but if you carelessly replace 0 with 1 in the registry, the computer may no longer restart. In the world of yoga, enough people have damaged their physical bodies with wrong hatha yoga, but what is much worse: in the world of yoga and esotericism, there are enough of those who have encountered more with, some ended up in a madhouse, others ahead of schedule left the body.

The best guarantee of security on the spiritual path is with which a person tries to strengthen attunement. This should be an already realized Master, in whom you, as a student, also have confidence.

Without the above condition, I do not recommend applying techniques for cleansing and opening the chakras, even if it is ten times fashionable and all modern “yogis” do this.

For those who have a true aspiration for God and devotion to the guru, some special techniques for opening the chakras may not be needed, and concentration on God, on the guru is the most powerful yoga technique for cleansing the chakras, activating them and raising the kundalini.

At whatever stage of your spiritual path you are, you will always need as clear as possible, as deep and powerful as possible, attracting. It is precisely these components of success that should be given as much attention as possible.

It is better to focus on working out, it may look longer, but it will give much more reliable and safe guarantees for opening and clearing the chakras.

Be wise, my dear reader, and see you in the reality of yoga.

A very good meditation, better explaining the topic of the chakras:

And also talks very interestingly about the chakras and the properties of the chakras in this video:

Kundalini yoga is a modern trend in yoga. It increases the energy of kundalini, which copulates at the base of the spinal axis, if meditation is systematically carried out.

Chakras and kundalini are closely related. The kundalini energy is able to pass through all the chakras of a person, but gradually. At the highest level of the Sahasrara, she merges with Shiva. After that, the yogi's own consciousness stops.

There are a lot of chakras (energy centers) in our body, but all the teachings speak of only seven main ones.

Their color scheme is the same as the colors of the rainbow: from red (chakra 1) to purple (chakra 7). Each person feels their energy centers more. We have adapted to this and do not pay much attention to them.

The energy of all past life karmas is the power of Kundalini. It is impossible to say exactly where the kundalini is located. But the 1st chakra of Muldhara is the source of manifestation of the kundalini. If the kundalini rises higher, overcoming all energy obstacles in subtle matter, the chakras located above will gradually begin to open. And areas of perception that were inaccessible to your consciousness are activated in you.

All feelings and sensations of human existence are kundalini activities. And the opening of energy centers is a manifestation of the potential to infinity. Who a person feels and how he does it is the power of kundalini, which is recreated through energy channels.

Special practices have been developed that are able to quickly awaken the power of kundalini so that it walks through each energy center and charges it with its energy to reveal all human capabilities. However, such exercises are not so safe and are prohibited for independent development.

Description of the chakras and their meaning

The meaning of "chakra" is an Eastern name from the Sanskrit language. They are listed in order from top to bottom:

  • chakra 1 - Muladhara (the place of the coccyx, in women it is the back wall on the cervix);
  • chakra 2 - Svadhisthana (organs of the reproductive system);
  • chakra 3 - Manipura (place of the navel);
  • chakra 4 - Anahata (chest);
  • chakra 5 - Vishduha (throat);
  • chakra 6 - Ajana (third eye);
  • chakra 7 - Sahasrara (place of the crown).

Below will be short description every step.

Muldha

The first chakra Muladha is also called the root chakra. It is responsible for the consciousness of a person at the level of his physical needs (food, shelter, security). It contains the consciousness of the animal world. The most striking example of a person who settled on Muldha is Sharikov (“Heart of a Dog”). Animal fears block her.

But a well-developed Muladha awakens the power of kundalini and gives good health, beautiful physical ability in yoga. When it opens, there is an energy rise, small tremors in the coccyx are possible.

Swadhisthana

Swadhisthana is responsible for prosperity, pleasure. Most of humanity is at this level. That is why the topic of sex is quite relevant. It is sexual satisfaction that is the energy of Svadhisthana, which burns out at the moment of orgasm. But it is necessary to save such energy that it rises higher, and for this purpose many teachings advise abstinence.

Rising higher, the energy of Svadhisthana feeds the chakras that are higher. Sometimes it is accompanied as mental pain, but there will definitely be pleasant experiences.

Lust, strong desire - this speaks of blocks of the second chakra. But in the open state, it will give seductiveness, the realization of a dream.

Manipura

Manipura is responsible for power, management abilities. There are chiefs in Manipur high level, power personalities.

Manipura is blocked by social fears, greed, insecurity own forces, weakness.

When it is open, a person is given a special power, with the help of which he influences other people with his energy.

All three chakras described are the level of society where most people live.

The other four upper chakras are spiritual.

Anahata

Anahata (fourth chakra) is responsible for love. This is not the feeling that brings feelings and jealousy. It's something much deeper, like a mother's feeling. At this stage, human consciousness comprehends the Christian statement "God is love."

The transition to Anahata means a new vision and perception. The egoistic desire for power is leaving, trying to prove one's case.

Feelings of guilt, depression, emotional attachment are blockers of Anahata. But when it opens, intuition awakens, consciousness expands, a person can easily meditate.

Vishuddha

Vishuddha is responsible for creativity. If the kundalini has risen to the level of Vishuddhi, it will not go any lower. Fully opened Vishuddha is able to get rid of the feeling of hunger. It will give longevity, the ability to have awareness in a dream and other unique opportunities. But, if a person is creative, this does not mean that he is on Vishuddha. Here consciousness is much wider.

Vishuddha is blocked when it exceeds one's own "I", there is no flexibility, speech is not developed, weakness of mental abilities.

Ajna

Ajna is responsible for accepting reality on an energetic level. Here is the node of Shiva, which gives the perception of reality dually (pleasantly or unpleasantly). Staying on Ajna, the material world no longer becomes the basis of life. Ways are opened for self-realization. This becomes the most significant.

  1. With the full disclosure of the chakra 6 of kundalini yoga, a person gets rid of the concept of "individual existence".
  2. He feels the vibration of different energies.
  3. At this level, clairvoyance, omniscience awakens.

Ajna is blocked by its own logic, clinging to some idea, distortion of the information that comes in, inadequacy.

Sahasrara

Sahasrara -7 is the highest chakra, responsible for the manifestation of the level of pure existence. It is marked by enlightenment, but full enlightenment will be when the power of kundalini appears in Sahasrara and clears its channels. Going to the higher "I", the ego leaves. A person becomes an observer, the mind produces only what it receives.

Sahasrara blocks mindfulness, clarity.

A fully enlightened person is endowed with consciousness around the clock.

To work on opening the chakras, a video lesson from specialist Maya Fiennes is offered.

Chakra Perception
The nature of the chakras, kundalini and mind represents the subtlest vibration of various levels, and our perception of this vibration can be purely subjective. When chakras open in people, they perceive this phenomenon in different ways: some emphasize the mystical aspect, others emphasize the energy aspect, others emphasize their functions, fourth the psychological considerations, fifth the physical signs, etc. Essentially, they all talk about the same thing, but from different points of view. If we look at a person through binoculars, he appears to us large; if we look at him with the naked eye, he has the usual size; if we examine him under X-rays, we see only his skeleton; and if we examine it using gastroscopy, we will see only the inside of the stomach. The person is the same - the points of view are different. In the same way, where the mystic describes the chakras as spiritual and symbolic images, the surgeon will explain to you that these are branches nerve fibers, nerve plexuses. Diversity in assessments depends on differences in culture, education, personal perceptions. As a rule, it is difficult for a person to convey in words what he feels.

I must admit that despite all my reverence for Tantra, I also have my own, subjective, idea of the chakras, and therefore, describing the chakras, I will combine my impressions with tantric descriptions. It is quite obvious that without one's own experience of representing chakras, it is difficult to understand someone else's experience.

Tantra is first of all practice, direct experience, and not speculation, which does not lead to real comprehension.

Symbolism of the chakras

To make it easier to navigate the systems of kundalini or kriya yoga, you should familiarize yourself with the symbols of the chakras and understand what these symbols and the light spectrum mean. Each chakra has its own color, mantra, place, and symbolizes a certain state of a person. While various esoteric cults and spiritual systems use various symbols instead of chakras, Tantra and yoga use lotus flowers as a symbol. Lotus is a special flower that goes through the same stages of purification as a person: it grows out of mud, and a person out of ignorance; the lotus matures in the water, trying to reach its surface - a person also awakens to meet his desires and aspirations; the lotus eventually reaches contact with sunlight and air - a person, having accumulated life experience, reaches enlightenment ... Thus, the lotus symbolizes the development of human consciousness from the lower to the higher. If the culmination of the growing lotus is the blossoming of a beautiful flower, the highest phase spiritual development of a person is the awakening and flowering of spiritual potential.

Each chakra is represented as a lotus with a specific color and number of petals:

  1. Muladhara is a 4-petalled deep red lotus.
  2. Svadhisthana is a 6-petalled bright red lotus.
  3. Manipura is a 10 petal light yellow lotus.
  4. Anahata - 12 petal blue lotus.
  5. Vishuddha is a 16 petal purple lotus.
  6. Ajna - 2-petal silver-gray lotus.
  7. Sahasrara is a 1000-petalled multicolored or red lotus.

Each chakra combines six aspects:

  • color;
  • number of petals;
  • yantra, or geometric figure;
  • bija mantra;
  • animal symbol;
  • divine symbol.

The animal symbol represents your previous evolution, while the divine symbol represents higher consciousness. When describing the nature of the chakras, I refer to the color that was revealed to me, however, your concentration on the same chakra may reveal another color and it will be true for you. Your vision is just as real as mine, but one thing is certain: as you move up the chakras, you cannot help but notice how the frequencies of the colors become more subtle and intense.

Chakra kshetram

Some psychotechniques of kundalini yoga recommend focusing attention, as it were, on the trigger of the chakra in spinal cord. Others suggest concentrating attention on the chakra kshetram, located as if on the facade of the chakra, as a reflection of its trigger. Kriya yoga also advises this. By focusing our attention on the chakra kshetram, we can experience a sensation that pervades our entire body, all the way to the top of our head.

Muladhara has no kshetrams, but the other five have doubles right in front of them, on the same horizontal level: svadhisthana kshetram is located at the level of the pubic bone in the front of the body, above the genitals; manipura ksetram - at the navel; anahata ksetram - at the heart; visuddha ksetram - on the anterior surface of the throat fossa, near the thyroid gland; ajna kshetram - center between the eyebrows, bhrumadhya.

There are three granthis (psychic plexuses) or three thresholds on the path of kundalini movement: brahma granthi, vishnu granthi and rudra granthi.

Brahma granthi functions in the area of the muladhara chakra and symbolizes attachment to physical pleasures, material objects, extreme selfishness, ignorance and apathy.

Vishnu granthi acts in the anahata chakra and indicates emotional attachment to people and one's own mental states, as well as passion, ambition and assertiveness.

Rudra granthi functions in the area of the ajna chakra and is associated with siddhis and the idea of oneself as an extraordinary person.

For further spiritual progress, it is necessary to neutralize the feeling of selfishness and the feeling of duality arising from all granthas.

Possibilities of the chakras

Chakras are control centers and a kind of mental switches, but not only. They are able to transform one energy into another. So, for example, a subtle flow of astral energy yoga can transform into physical energy. There are cases when yoga was buried in the ground for a long time, and he retained his vitality due to the activation of the vishuddha chakra, which controls hunger and thirst. These possibilities of the chakras greatly expand the possibilities of the person himself, who can enter or exit into various spheres of being, feel his existence in them and expand the limited framework of consciousness, due to habitual existence.
