36. Applicants for training have the right to submit information about their individual achievements, the results of which are taken into account when applying for training. Accounting for the results of individual achievements is carried out by accruing points for individual achievements and (or) as an advantage in case of equality of criteria for ranking lists of applicants.

Points awarded for individual achievements are included in the amount of competitive points.

The applicant submits documents confirming the receipt of the results of individual achievements. To take into account the individual achievement specified in the Admission Rules, the submission of such documents is not required.

37. When applying for undergraduate and specialist programs, the ITMO University Admissions Committee may award points for the following individual achievements:

1) the presence of the status of the champion and prize-winner Olympic Games, Paralympic Games and Deaflympics, world champion, European champion, the person who won first place at the world championship, European championship in sports included in the programs of the Olympic Games, Paralympic Games and Deaflympics, the presence of a gold badge of distinction of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex " Ready for labor and defense" (TRP) and certificates for it of the established form;

2) the presence of a certificate of secondary general education with honors, or a certificate of secondary (complete) general education for those awarded with a gold medal, or a certificate of secondary (complete) general education for those awarded with a silver medal;

3) a diploma of secondary vocational education with honors;

4) implementation of volunteer (voluntary) activities (if from the date of completion of the period of implementation of the specified activity until the date of completion of the acceptance of documents and entrance examinations no more than four years have passed);

5) participation and (or) results of participation of applicants in Olympiads (not used to obtain special rights and (or) advantages when applying for training on specific conditions of admission and specific grounds for admission) and other intellectual and (or) creative competitions, physical culture events and sports events held to identify and support individuals who have shown outstanding abilities;

6) the grade given by the admissions committee of ITMO University based on the results of checking the final essay, which is a condition for admission to the state final certification in educational programs of secondary general education.

38. When applying for undergraduate and specialist programs, an applicant can be awarded for individual achievements no more than 10 points in total.

39. The list of individual achievements taken into account when enrolling in bachelor's and specialist's programs in the event of an equal amount of competitive points is established by ITMO University independently.

40. The list of individual achievements taken into account and the procedure for their accounting are established by ITMO University in accordance with the Admission Rules and are indicated in the admission rules approved by ITMO University independently.

In 2017, the admission committees of Russian universities have the right to charge up to 10 extra points for personal achievements of the graduate.

What exactly is included in the list of individual achievements approved by the Ministry of Education, as amended on July 29, 2016? Least of all universities, unfortunately, pay attention to volunteering. Olympic champions and honors certificates are respected by almost all universities, and TRP badges are also most often accepted by the admissions committee as an argument in favor of awarding additional points. But in different universities for success in physical education, applicants are awarded a different number of points. After looking at the results of the adopted resolutions, officials from the Ministry of Education and Science allowed to award a total of no more than ten additional points for individual achievements. Medal

Since 2014, the medals are no longer divided into “gold” and “silver”, instead of them one common one is given - “For special achievements in teaching”. You can get it under several conditions:

Having in the school certificate “excellent” in all subjects and at least 220 USE points in total for three subjects;
becoming the winner or prize-winner of the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren;
by scoring the maximum number of USE points one at a time subject(Russian or mathematics).

It will help to increase the result of the exam up to ten points. How many of them a medal can give, each university sets independently. Moscow State University, for example, adds from 2 to 6 points for it, depending on the faculty. TRP badge

Those who are not too lucky in educational achievements may be lucky in sports. The latter, in turn, will help add additional points to the exam - for this you will need to get a gold TRP badge (silver and bronze will not give any bonuses).

To become its proud owner, you must successfully pass the mandatory test in four sports disciplines: 100-meter run, 3 km run for boys or 2 km for girls, tilts from a standing position and pull-ups (various options for boys and girls, as well as push-ups or for boys - kettlebell snatch 16 kg). TRP standards are free of charge. For a gold badge, an applicant can receive from 1 to 10 additional points. Each university sets its own exact number. At MSTU im. Bauman, for example, "Ready for work and defense" will be given 4 points, in the Higher School of Economics and the Russian State Humanitarian University - only 1 point.
