The Nizhny Novgorod Motor Transport College was founded in September 1930. The college employs highly qualified teachers. Over the years of work, the staff of the technical school has created a solid educational and material base, which makes it possible to train personnel with a secondary vocational education for the automotive industry. Over 84 years, more than 15,000 mid-level specialists for the national economy have been trained. More than half of the specialists at the motor transport enterprises of Nizhny Novgorod are graduates of our technical school.

GBOU SPO "NOWOR (technical school) named after V.S. Tishin" is a secondary special state budgetary educational institution of an elite type for athletes who have shown outstanding abilities. The school is designed to provide training for qualified specialists in the field of sports and to prepare the replenishment of the Russian national teams in Olympic sports sports. Currently, 15 sports are cultivated.
