Auto-training for a good mood in the morning. Auto-training for self-confidence and solving other problems

Self confidence - not an innate quality. It occurs or does not occur for a variety of reasons.

We are very dependent on this property of ours. And many are dissatisfied with themselves in this sense, they want to change something in themselves, to become more confident.

What is it: auto-training for self-confidence? What needs to be worked on And How?

What is "auto-training"?

"Auto-training" in psychology refers to any actions aimed at self-change.

These can be changes in the daily routine, lifestyle, worldview, behavior, self-understanding, relationships with people, type and method of activity.

Takovo broad meaning this term.

In a narrow sense, “auto-training” is special events developed by professional psychologists, but conducted by the client himself, designed to help the client achieve self-change.

Suppose there is a man, let's call him Peter. He dissatisfied with himself, considers himself insufficiently self-confident.

After talking with a psychologist, he comes to the conclusion that minding his own business(he is an office clerk), he lacks communication (there are only business acquaintances), his lifestyle is wrong (moves a little, rarely happens in the fresh air).

Meanwhile, Peter proud. To become more confident, he needs to achieve something in some difficult case. On the advice of a psychologist, he decides to go in for tourism, changes his job.

He makes friends among other tourists, informal communication. He trains a lot and goes hiking. As a result his self-confidence grows. This is training in the broadest sense of the word.

If the psychologist recommends to Peter a system of relaxation exercises, advises him to use certain self-hypnosis formulas, and also to work on self-understanding and acceptance of himself as he is, and Peter has been doing this for some time, then This is training in the narrow sense.

The concept of "self-confidence"

Confident person inoffensive.

If someone criticizes him, even accuses him of something, he is quite rational about such information. If there is some truth in it, I am ready to admit it.

This is due to the fact that such a person internally stable. His opinion of himself, his subconscious perception of himself (more important than our conscious beliefs) is unambiguously positive.

Imagine a huge granite stone weighing several tons. AND soap bubble launched by a child playing next to a stone. It is enough to blow on a soap bubble, and it will crumble. Even an excavator will not move a granite stone.

The inner world of a self-confident person can be compared with this stone. His self-image is almost impossible to shake.

But the inner world of someone who is not confident in himself resembles a soap bubble. Therefore, such a person is afraid of any criticism, very vulnerable and touchy.

In a situation where he is busy with some kind of activity and something does not work out, the unsure of himself behaves nervously, is lost, discouraged, does not finish the job. He tends to blame anyone but himself for his failures.

On the contrary, self-confident failures, although they upset, but do not force to retreat, even provoke. He is even more interesting when something is difficult. He is not afraid of failures, willingly admits his mistakes; As a rule, he sees them as the cause of all problems.

Self-confidence is a quality of a person, the essence of which is a positive perception of oneself, both on a conscious and subconscious (emotional) level.

A self-confident person considers himself strong enough, worthy, moral, intelligent. That's why difficulties, problems do not bother him very much.

Technique to raise self-esteem in 5 minutes:

Why are we confident or not confident in ourselves?

Self-confidence is a quality defined by the so-called "I-concept".

The self-concept is our (often unconscious) idea of what to what extent we are who we are, we correspond to our own idea of the ideal of man.

Psychologists call the opinion about the real self “I am real”. And about the ideal of a person - "I am ideal."

The more accurate the correspondence between our I-real and I-ideal, the closer the first to the second, the more confident we are. And vice versa: with a sharp contrast between the I-ideal and I-real, a person is always not sure of himself.

It is easier to understand this with a concrete example. Suppose a young man, Ilya, turned to a psychologist. He is the son of a famous actress, grew up without a father. Myself no talents.

He tried to do business, but failed, because he constantly and unjustifiably took risks. He got a job as an administrator in a firm, but a month later he got into a fight with one of the clerks, inflicting serious damage on him (breaking his nose).

Ilya physically strong but lacking self-control young man. It is worth hurting him a little, he flares up and at the same time cannot control himself. He had a girlfriend, but they broke up. He has been alone for a long time. Started drinking.

During a conversation with a psychologist, it turns out that Ilya, on a subconscious level, makes very high demands. He always has to do everything the best way, achieve highest results. This is due to the influence of the mother. She is a celebrity.

Because for a child the ideal of a person is his father or mother(for a girl - a mother, for a boy - a father, but if there is no father, then for a boy it is also a mother), then Ilya's ideal self includes the need to achieve a lot, have a high social status, be a famous, famous person.

But he himself, before turning to a specialist, did not realize this. It is clear that he, a person without obvious talents, is not able to correspond to such an I-ideal. Due to the discrepancy between the I-real and I-ideal and self-doubt has arisen.

When, thanks to conversations with a psychologist, Ilya corrected his I-ideal, the contrast between I-real and I-ideal smoothed out. He went into business again and this time succeeded. Then he got married. His self-confidence has grown significantly.

Every person has a self-concept. But not everyone is fully aware of it. I-real can also be partially unaware.

For example, a cowardly and spineless person may consider himself courageous and resolute, although his behavior suggests that this is not so. I am perfect is not realized even more often, because it is formed in early childhood usually under the influence of parents.

How to increase self-esteem? Psychologist's advice:

How to increase self-esteem?

A young man, a student, turned to a psychologist. His name is Valery.

He studies at a prestigious university. She is very nervous because of every exam, sleeps badly, gets tired.

When he needs seminars, forced to take a sedative because he is afraid of failure. He considers himself a little capable person, although he almost won a gold medal at school.

It turned out that the school that Valery graduated from was also elite. There is a huge load on students. He worked from morning to evening. But never liked to study.

His favorite thing was working with wood. In his room there is a small lathe, on which he himself learned to work. He threw out all the old furniture, made himself chairs, a table, a bookcase.

Valery decided to temporarily leave his studies. He went to work for furniture factory. After 2-3 months his perception of himself began to change. He calmed down. The work was going great, he was highly appreciated at the factory.

We see that self-confidence or self-doubt depends on the choice of activity. When we do what we love, our self-confidence grows. If we are constantly busy with what we do not like, it decreases. This is a natural psychological process.

If a person does not occupy his place in life, it is impossible to change his sense of self in any artificial way. It will be low.

Another client of the psychologist is Lera. She worked for a commercial firm. She did not enjoy respect and authority from her colleagues.

Lera is not distinguished by either special energy, or persistence, or practicality; her so-called “business qualities” are poorly developed. Communication with colleagues was purely businesslike, and Leroux was little appreciated. As a result, and she began to appreciate herself quite low.

However, on the advice of a psychologist, she found, without changing the type of activity.

Here, colleagues often gathered together, went to the cinema or the theater, and often stayed after work to chat.

Lera is a thin, smart, interesting woman in communication, kind and sincere. And here her status was higher, everyone appreciated her.

We are all, in one way or another, dependent on the opinions of others around us. The choice of circle of communication is of great importance.

If the strong qualities (which everyone has) of a person are not appreciated by others, but only notice his weaknesses, his self-confidence will decrease. On the contrary, communicating mainly with those who appreciate our best qualities we build self-confidence.

Another client of the psychologist, Valentina, considered herself a weak person. Every time she had a problem, she found it difficult to make a decision, hesitated for a long time, was tormented by doubts, was afraid to make a mistake.

At the same time, her I-ideal includes such qualities as determination, willpower, because her mother was a strong-willed person. As a result of conversations with a psychologist, Valentina realized that she had assessed herself incorrectly. She is not spineless, but psychologically thin and especially sensitive.

Any situation of choice, therefore, involuntarily makes her reflect, reflect, since it is important for her to understand her motives. However that doesn't mean weakness at all.. By changing her opinion about herself (about her real self), Valentina managed to strengthen her self-confidence, it became easier for her to make decisions.

So, self-confidence also depends on how well we understand ourselves.

Thus, to build self-confidence, need to:

Self-confidence also depends on emotional well-being (on whether we have relatives, loved ones), the level of professionalism (good professionals are always confident in themselves, and vice versa).

In part, self-confidence may depend on the society in which we live: it is known that the so-called. "totalitarian" or "authoritarian" societies provoke the emergence of a large number of insecure, even notorious people, as they are easier to manage.

If you ignore these fundamental reasons for self-confidence or self-doubt, no auto-training (in the narrow sense: that is, special relaxation exercises, self-hypnosis) will not help.

Affirmations for self-affirmation and self-esteem. "I'm beautiful in everything":

Suggestion formulas

Auto-training (in the narrow sense) is special exercises designed by a specialist just for you.

But you do them yourself. You can, of course, not contact a specialist.

But this is the same as self-medicating with a serious illness. It is doubtful that you will succeed. Self-hypnosis formulas are compiled by you together with a psychologist.

At the same time, the following rules are followed:

  • they are simple, short, clear;
  • verbs are used only in the present tense;
  • assumptions, doubts, self-criticism are not allowed;
  • negative ratings are not allowed;
  • outright lies that are impossible to believe are not allowed.

You can write down these formulas on paper, in a clear, beautiful font, and just look at them.

How and where to perform?

How to listen to autotraining? During auto-training nothing should distract.

Inspiring yourself with something, try to remember some real moment from your life, confirming a positive opinion about yourself. Don't try to self-deceive.

Posture, environment during the auto-training session should be as comfortable as possible for you. For example, some people like to do it in the dark or in semi-darkness. Someone prefers to turn on quiet music.

Self-hypnosis is addressed not to consciousness, but to the subconscious. Therefore, it is not the words themselves that act, but your emotional attitude towards them.

If the session gave you pleasure, you feel calmer, better after it, then this method suits you.

However, it must be remembered that self-confidence is one of the core personal qualities. Change it only special exercises impossible.

If we are dissatisfied with ourselves, there is a lot to change: lifestyle, communication and relationships with people, self-perception, self-understanding, perhaps the type of activity. If self-doubt is provoked by society, it is worth moving to another country.

This is a very important quality, showing how successful we are as people, what we have actually achieved in life. Exactly these real achievements should be striven for.

Morning psychological auto-training is the most important and decisive, since the state with which a person gets up in the morning affects throughout the day. Self-confidence morning auto-training is a specially designed complex of mental, physical and breathing exercises that need to be done daily. It uses the basic methods of self-regulation and helps to master new qualities of character and perception, which subsequently allows a person not only to wake up and get out of bed, but to take the maximum of what is useful for himself from the new day. With the help of morning auto-training, you can develop a state of balance, endurance, clarity of thought, as well as constructive thinking, the ability to relax and collect yourself in time, and also achieve high performance using emotion management

When we mentally relax, our body also physiologically relaxes. There is a constant connection between thought and body, between our intentions and actual actions. The model of psychological auto-training is based on the belief that it is possible to learn new thinking skills and change old behavior patterns. Your thoughts precede your actions.

Autotraining, option 1
Before starting the exercises, remove the pillow from under your head, lie on your back and slowly perform a sipping movement, raising your arms up and stretching your toes.
Then get out of bed (you can take a contrast shower) and do a set of exercises:

  1. Stand straight, feet together, palms folded in front of the chest. Take a slow and calm breath.
  2. At the same time as you inhale, raise your arms up and, without bending your legs, bend back.
  3. As you exhale, lean forward and place the palms of your hands on the floor at your feet, or bring them as close to the floor as possible. Try to touch your knees with your forehead. After exhaling, press your knees even tighter.
  4. Shift your weight onto your hands and release with an inhale. right leg as far back as possible. The left leg with the whole foot stands on the floor between the hands, also firmly pressed to the floor. The head is raised.
  5. Exhale, place your left foot next to your right, torso and legs should form one straight line. The weight of the body is held on straightened arms. Look ahead. Breathe in.
  6. As you exhale, bend your arms and lower yourself to the floor, leaving your pelvis slightly raised. In this position, the body touches the floor with 8 points - feet, knees, palms, chest, forehead and chin.
  7. Inhale, straighten your arms and bend back.
  8. Exhale and lift your pelvis so that your body forms a triangle. Ideally, the palms and feet should be firmly pressed to the floor, and the head should be between the hands.
  9. Stand straight, bend your elbows (elbows down) and point your palms towards the viewer. Take noisy, short, rhythmic breaths through your nose and at the same time clench your palms into fists - make grasping movements.
  10. Take 4 sharp, rhythmic breaths in a row with your nose (“sniff” 4 times). Then lower your arms and rest for 3-4 seconds - pause.
  11. Take 3 more short and noisy breaths, and pause again.
  12. Stand straight, hands clenched into fists and pressed to the stomach at waist level. At the moment of inhalation, sharply push your fists down to the floor, as if pushing up from it (shoulders tense, arms straight, reaching for the floor). Then return the hands to their original position at the level of the belt. Relax your shoulders - the exhalation is gone. Do not raise your hands above the waist.
  13. Do in a row not 4 breaths-movements, but 8. Then rest for 4 seconds - and again 8 breaths-movements.
  14. Stand straight with your feet slightly narrower than shoulder-width apart. Make a slight bow forward (with your hands reach for the floor, but do not touch it) and at the same time a sharp, short breath through your nose in the second half of the bow. The inhalation should end with the bow.
  15. Rise slightly, but do not straighten up, and bow again and a short noisy breath from the floor. Imagine that you are inflating the tires of a car. Forward bows are done rhythmically and easily, do not bow low, a bow to the waist is enough. The back is round (not straight), the head is down.
  16. Stand straight with your feet slightly narrower than shoulder-width apart. Tilt forward - hands reach for the floor - inhale. And immediately without stopping, slightly arching in the lower back, tilting back - arms hugging the shoulders. And also inhale. Bow forward - lean back, inhale from the floor - inhale from the ceiling. The exhalation leaves in the interval between breaths by itself (do not hold or push out the exhalations).

The above exercises are useful to do immediately after getting out of bed, when the person is already awake. Such breathing exercises should certainly be carried out every morning by all those who lead a sedentary lifestyle, are engaged in sedentary work and so on.

Autotraining, option 2
The second version of morning auto-training does not require any significant effort, since the exercises are performed in bed immediately after the person wakes up. Everyone can do the same gymnastics in the case when they are too lazy to get out of bed, but it is necessary to quickly bring all the muscles into working condition, to stir up your body.

  1. Lying on your back, try to strongly draw in your stomach, then stick it out. Repeat the movement 10 to 20 times. Thanks to this exercise, stagnation of bile and blood is eliminated in the body.
  2. Take a deep breath, let the air out of your lungs. Imagine that together with the exhaled air you are freed from all negative thoughts and emotions.
  3. Tighten the muscles in your fingers and toes for a few minutes, then relax them. Inhale the air, count to ten and exhale slowly.
  4. Concentrate on the sensations in the relaxed muscles. Repeat the second and third steps 3 more times.
  5. Include in the work the muscles of the feet, shoulders, arms, hands, neck, face - the whole body: stretch, shake your limbs, press them to the body, and then spread them wide to the side.
  6. Lying on your back, sharply bend your leg at the knee and pull it towards your chest. Try to hit the buttock with your heel, and then sharply straighten your leg and lower it. Do 15 reps with each leg.
  7. Raise your head and sit in bed, lower your legs to the floor. Place your left foot on top of your right foot and massage it 20 times with the palm of your right hand. Change the position of the legs and massage 20 more times. This exercise will regulate the work of the heart.
  8. Sitting on the bed, make a lock with the fingers of both hands. Put them on the back of your head and massage it 10 times, while leaning back. This exercise improves blood circulation in the tissues of the head.
  9. Sitting, press your palms tightly to your ears and tap the back of your head with your fingertips.
  10. Try to work your facial muscles: close and open your eyes, straighten the wrinkles of your forehead, look at the tip of your nose, and then smile with a big smile. Open and close your mouth, open your jaws, place the tip of your tongue on the border between the upper teeth and gums. And then relax.

This light exercise will definitely affect your well-being - you will certainly feel cheerfulness in your whole body, clarity in your head, you will be able to effortlessly open your eyes and get out of bed.

Autotraining, option 3
Morning auto-training and emotion management is a psychological training, a kind of relaxation method. Its goal is to improve mental and mental state, recharge positive emotions. You can carry out this auto-training not only lying or sitting in bed, while still in a semi-drowsy state, but also, for example, taking a contrast shower. This auto-training does not require serious mental stress, so it can be done for self-confidence, combined with any light, automatically performed morning activity, whether it is washing, combing, dressing, etc.

So, smile to yourself and say out loud: “I woke up (s), I rested (a), I am calm (a). My nervous system is in perfect order, all my muscles, my whole body come into action, begin to work, my brain, my thoughts come into a balanced state and make me happy. I am full of strength, energy and desire to live, work, think, rejoice and please others. After a short rest, continue to convincingly inspire yourself with the following thoughts: "I rested (a), I slept (sleep), now I am calm (a), peaceful (a) and at the same time I feel vivacity, activity in my whole body. I can no longer lie in bed, I don't want to sleep anymore, I'm cheerful, I'm energetic, I'm in great shape, I feel great. I have a wonderful mood, and I am ready (a) to share it with everyone, which adds to me more more joy self-confidence and desire to live and act.

After such an initial recharge, continue to convince yourself that there is no trace of sleep left: “I finally recovered from sleep, my organs came to working condition, my pressure, breathing and pulse returned to normal, I feel lightness and freedom in my body . I feel an abundance of strength and positive energy. I sweep away all problems. Now I start the day from scratch, I am absolutely free from fears, from extraneous influence. My new day, my life is filled with joyful events, pleasant impressions, unexpected situations that I had only dreamed about before. All my dreams come true, everything that did not work before now happens by itself. I am lucky, I enter a new day without fear, without any doubt that it will fail, that someone will harm me and disrupt my plans.

Note that each proposed phrase does not sound in the future tense, but in the present - with your self-hypnosis you exclude any possibility of a bad course of affairs. Self-hypnosis is one of the most important stages of morning auto-training, because with the help of words it strengthens your belief that you are able to fulfill your desires, realize all your skills, strengths, life experience, fulfill everything that intuitive thinking leads you to.
Your self-hypnosis is a clear statement that success is possible, that you woke up not in vain and the new day will be better than yesterday, more significant, more interesting, more fruitful for you. Self-talk and emotional management reinforce the belief that you can achieve your goals or one big goal and point you in the direction you need to go. They force your brain to concentrate and actively participate in achieving the goal.

Repeat any of the proposed phrases several times, do it not mechanically, but concentrating on your thoughts, trying to clearly imagine in your imagination all the good things you say and think about.

Always remember that a suggestion is a positive statement formulated as something that already exists in the present tense.

The notion that self-doubt and own forces- this is not a flaw at all, but a natural property of character and personality quality, which is quite common. But this does not take into account the losses that entail missed opportunities, unused chances, unrealized goals.
Self-doubt is a quality that can and should be fought by all available means.

One of the most effective ways dealing with self-doubt auto-training(autogenic training). By controlling your body, emotions, psycho-emotional processes, you can easily cope with anxiety and strengthen your sense of self-confidence. At the heart of autogenic training are the core mechanisms of self-regulation of the psycho-emotional state of a person. result regular workouts becomes the acquisition and strengthening of new qualities and character traits that contribute to the growth of a sense of confidence in one's strengths and capabilities.

It is recommended to carry out autogenic training in the morning, immediately after waking up. This is due to the fact that it is the charge of energy received in the morning that has the most powerful influence on the psycho-emotional state of a person throughout the day and forms the “right” psychological mood for the whole coming day.

Therefore, the first thing to do after waking up in the morning is to relax as much as possible and not allow negative thoughts and emotions to fill your mind, no matter how difficult the coming day seems. Therefore, the practice of active relaxation and relaxation is considered the best start to a new day.

Autogenic training, aimed at increasing one's own confidence and strengthening it, is a set of activities consisting of thought forms, simple gymnastic exercises, supplemented by elements of breathing exercises.
The main principle of training is systematic and regular practice.

The human body is designed in such a way that when his thoughts are in a relaxed state, then the body does not experience any tension.

Behind basic set thought forms for auto-training, you can take the following example:
“I woke up in a good mood and feel good. I am calm and confident. I have a lot of strength, energy, desires and opportunities. I am ready to live, rejoice, bring joy and happiness to the people around me. All my undertakings are successful, all my ideas are ready for implementation. I am confident in myself and my abilities.” Etc.

The result of regular training can be:
— Facilitation of the process of human socialization;
— Increasing self-esteem;
– Improving the perception of a person by other people;

Regular self-confidence training will give impetus to social and career development, improve the quality of a person’s life, and provide an opportunity for personal growth and development.

"I am the most attractive and charming" - this auto-training for self-confidence became famous throughout the USSR thanks to the film of the same name with Irina Muravyova. And, despite the fact that it so subtly ridicules the very essence of auto-training, we still continue to believe that auto-training can help us in raising self-esteem, in solving the problem of obesity, in building relationships with the opposite sex, and in thousands of other cases. We believe that by repeating, reading, or even just seeing the "magic" set of words, they will work and we will ... become happy? Ha ha, no matter how! Everything will be quite the opposite - time passes and we - paradoxically, but a fact - often feel even worse than before auto-training.

In scientific medicine there is a concept - autogenic training. This is a technique aimed at restoring the dynamic balance of homeostatic mechanisms. human body disturbed as a result of stress. This area of science is experimental and has not yet been fully studied, but it has its own results. This is a separate conversation. Unfortunately, while scientists are working, ordinary charlatans who do not understand anything in psychology and science are trying to convince people that all their problems will be solved if they repeat some kind of "mantra" every day, hypnotize themselves with words or actions. The effect of self-hypnosis, they say, is not only possible, but easily attainable. In fact, this is not at all the case. Everything is the opposite. Not a single auto-training, mantra, will enable a person to be happy. Of course, this has some effect on some people, but the effect does not last long, and soon the person runs the risk of slipping into an even worse state than before.

Today, the theory that auto-training works not only exists, it literally thrives. If at the time when the film "The Most Attractive and Charming" was filmed, the auto-training technology was like an untested novelty, untested, mysterious, foreign, today the number of auto-trainings on a wide variety of topics is growing exponentially. They are perceived as the real cure for all ills. "I got up in the morning - I read a conspiracy for success - and you already feel the joy of life!" - assure us advertising brochures. They are sold in stores and published on the Internet on many popular sites, and the authors promise that a person’s life will completely change with each auto-training. "Auto-training for self-confidence", "Auto-training for calming", "Auto-training for weight loss" - there are hundreds or even thousands of them, these auto-trainings for all occasions seem to multiply. And the scene of this movie doesn't seem so comical anymore.

Does listening to auto-training really help?

In fact, only one thing is really true - such auto-training is the work of a charlatan. It has nothing to do with science, and has no effect. Moreover, it distracts from what a person could do to really help himself become happier.
Who listens to auto-training? Who believes in them? These are always people who have a visual vector, who can believe in everything in the world if they are shown more or less weighty reasons. And sometimes for no reason. After all, the auto-training technology is built on self-hypnosis, and visual people are so impressed that they literally feel the effect and action. They are psychologically sure that auto-training helps them.

No wrinkles with thoughts

Try to smooth out wrinkles with the help of air and sunlight with the power of thought, implant them into the skin, and then feel how each of its cells reaches for the radiant beam, rejuvenating and tightening.

The problem is that after literally a short period of time, the action of auto-training disappears somewhere. And even if in the morning the visual girl believed that not a single wrinkle was left on her face from reading the auto-training given above, then in the evening, having heard the address not “girl”, but “woman”, all the effect of auto-training is dispelled and on the soul is bitterly disappointed.

Being on the rise, when it seems that auto-training is working - visual people, by nature also very sociable, real extroverts, tend to tell friends, relatives and acquaintances about their discovery - what a wonderful effect the new auto-training has, which they liked. In the morning, going out into the street in a joyful mood, such a girl calls her girlfriends and enthusiastically tells that her wrinkles have really smoothed out, and she has become the most attractive and charming. And when in the evening she is broken and crushed by the realization that this is all not true, longing will attack her and there will be no desire to communicate with her friends on this topic.

In fact, following auto-training is useless!

All, without exception, auto-trainings, both verbal and visual, do not carry any positive effect. Nothing will work out - soon a person just gets used to words or actions, performs them automatically, but nothing changes in life.

For example, on the refrigerator door or a mirror, you can hang a piece of paper with the inscription: “I am the most beautiful and wonderful! Delicious and nutritious food helps me look great.” And every morning a charge of good mood and vivacity will be provided to you, and your appetite will not disappear anywhere. Soon you will no longer doubt your beauty at all, and a piece of paper will never be needed to strengthen faith in yourself. However, it can be left as a keepsake.

Auto-training cannot solve either the problem of obesity, or the problem of failures in life, or marry someone to yourself.

Thanks to auto-training, it is impossible to forgive insults or finally find a good job.

Because all these are problems, anchors that lie deep in the subconscious. Which can be corrected only if you understand yourself, your problems, deeply understand the cause, for example, overeating or hating your work.

RECIPE FOR A GOOD DAY!!! We take a day and cleanse it well of envy, hatred, grief, greed, stubbornness, selfishness, indifference. We add three full (with top) spoons of optimism, a large handful of faith, a spoonful of patience, a few grains of tolerance, and, finally, a pinch of politeness and decency in relation to everyone and, mainly, to neighbors. Pour all the resulting mixture on top with LOVE! Now that the dish is ready, decorate it with flower petals of kindness and attention. Serve daily

And the authors of auto-trainings seem to assure us that we ourselves can control our feelings, sensations. As if we can, at the behest of the mind, get rid of hatred, envy, greed, resentment, self-doubt, the desire to overeat, and so on. But it's not. Our sensations of the world, the feelings that are born in the soul, our attitude towards people - all this does not depend on our mind. Bad feelings, such as longing, depression, intolerance arise subconsciously, and no conspiracies can help here. Even if you tune in very strongly to the positive, sooner or later you will meet a person or an event will happen that hurts, will cause a bad state of mind. There is nothing wrong with this - this is the essence of man, this is our life.

Negative sensations, as well as positive ones, appear in a person not at the behest of his mind. When someone says, as the authors of auto-training, that one must endure, love oneself, not envy, and so on, this misleads everyone else. Others think it's possible. We imitate, we inherit. And at first it works a little. We go out into the world in the morning with a positive attitude, feeling younger and feeling in ourselves the strength not to eat more than necessary, and also, for example, to send a boss who has already got it. But, as mentioned above, self-hypnosis alone will not get you far - and our impression is shattered by the reality of the world.

And at this moment we begin to blame ourselves - it seems to us that we are such losers, because someone manages to inspire themselves with everything that is said at the auto-training, but we do not. “Here,” we think, “a friend can take and decide to be an optimist, and she succeeds, she just loves and doesn’t hate. And me?! I’m weak, bad! I hate, I envy, I’m offended, I have pessimistic thoughts and so on".
But this is not so, my friend and all the others who claim that auto-trainings work are disingenuous. On the rise, on inspiration, they themselves believe that it works. And in the evening or tomorrow, disappointed, they will forget to inform everyone that they themselves were disappointed in their action. And this will make it possible, like a chain, to spread longing, self-flagellation and self-digging.
