What age-related changes does face fitness struggle with, how soon is the effect of training noticeable?

Positive dynamics is immediately visible to everyone. Over time, the effect intensifies. There are individuals who instantly respond to exercises, after the first lesson we observe how the muscles tighten, the oval improves, puffiness disappears, swelling in the eyelid area decreases, nasolabial folds soften. The whole face looks lighter. And someone needs to study a little longer to notice the striking contrast between “was” and “became”. Everything is very individual.

How often should you exercise?

The ideal rhythm is 5-6 times a week. The whole complex takes about 10-15 minutes. This is acceptable even for a very busy woman. If you do not have time at all, then you can practice 2-3 times a week. For young girls, I recommend doing the whole complex once a week for preventive purposes. And, of course, you need to learn to control your facial habits.

What does it mean to control facial habits?

In the classroom, I not only teach a person to perform the exercises correctly, taking into account safety precautions. I also talk about how to rebuild your muscle memory, that is, get rid of the facial habits that form our wrinkles. Here, for example, I used to have an interbrow fold, I managed to remove it with the help of exercises. But I know that if I stop exercising, then over time I will have it again. Because the muscles that wrinkle the eyebrow turn on reflexively. In life, I watch my facial expressions, I try not to wrinkle my forehead. This is called controlling facial habits. And this is an important component when doing face fitness.

How do injectable rejuvenation methods combine with facial exercises? Will it be possible to perform them if a woman injected Botox or put fillers?

At the training, I always tell the girls: I do not use injections and I will teach you to do without them. But if you want to improve something in yourself with injections, this is your choice. Only at the same time continue to do exercises, because only they will help you restore the muscular frame and proportions of the face.

Many fear that if you do face fitness for a long time, and then abruptly quit classes, your face will instantly sag. Is it so?

This is the most common question I get asked in class. No! No sharp sagging of the skin will occur. The natural aging process will just begin. 1. Axial traction of the spine

Often, a simple “straighten up” solves most of the problems: both with appearance and with health in general. Because of bad posture and the wrong position of the neck “floats” the oval of the face, a second chin appears and many other problems.

Imagine that you are “suspended” by the top of your head, like a Christmas ball, an invisible thread pulls you up. cutting thoracic region, point the shoulder blades in the center to the spine and slightly down. 2. Massage of the scalp

This exercise gives a noticeable effect of lifting the upper third of the face, reduces puffiness, gives a fresh complexion.


Warming up. With gentle movements, "comb" the head from the periphery to the center. Behind "comb" in the direction from top to bottom. Perform daily for 30-60 seconds.


"Tearing off the hair." We take large strands of hair (closer to the roots) and pull them up a little, and then move them to the side. Do 30-60 seconds.

3. Lifting the upper corners of the eyes


With this exercise, the temporal cavities are reduced, the temples, the corners of the eyes and the outer parts of the upper eyelids are raised.

Put your palms on your temples. Pull them up a little to the crown, by 2-3 mm. Slowly and widely open and close your mouth 20-30 times. During the exercise, you should feel the movement of the muscles under the palms.

Avoid the following mistakes: strong pulling of the temples up, pressure on the temples, tension in the hands.

4. Spoon Cheek Exercise


Perfectly lifts cheekbones, enlarges lips and reduces nasolabial folds.

For this exercise, you need a teaspoon with a flat, wide tip. We wrap the lips behind the teeth and insert a teaspoon into the wrapped lips (you can!). Holding it, we begin to smile slowly zygomatic muscles to the temples. Hold a smile, relax. Attention, the corners of the lips should clearly rise up, and not “disperse” to the sides. At the same time, try not to squint your eyes. Perform the exercise 20 times, then linger in static (rest) for 20 seconds. After that, relax and pat your cheeks with your fingers. Do 3 sets. Make sure that during the exercise there is no tension in the neck and chin muscles, as well as movements of the lower jaw.

5. Exercise "Duck" (strengthening the muscles of the lips)


The tension is relieved, the effect of lip enlargement appears, the color improves, purse-string wrinkles are significantly reduced.

Connect the index and thumb fingers, tightly fix the area around the lips. They should be slightly open. We “bulge” our lips forward (just like a duck), at the same time we press our lips to our teeth with our fingers, offering resistance. Then we relax our lips and fingers. Without removing your fingers from your lips, perform the exercise 20 times, then linger for 20 seconds in static.

Be honest. Well, who among us does not dream of an ideal, in every sense, face? A taut chin, pronounced cheekbones, a smooth forehead, plump lips and no mimic and age wrinkles. It looks like a fairy tale, doesn't it? After all, facial skin aging is a completely natural process. And to turn it back is possible only with the help of Botox and plastic surgery.

1. Axial traction of the spine

Effect: corrects the second chin, restores the oval of the face, neck and healthy spine, reduce gravity ptosis, make your neck look longer and slimmer.

How to perform: imagine that you are suspended by the top of your head, like a "Christmas tree ball", and an invisible thread is pulling you up. Open the chest, point the shoulder blades to the center, to the spine and slightly down. From daily performance exercises will gradually restore the statics of your body, the position of the head and neck. Stretching should be very comfortable, without tension in the muscles, it must be performed constantly.

2. Movable scalp, or "pulling hair"

How to perform: take large strands of hair closer to the roots and pull them up a little, and then move them to the sides. Work the whole head in this way for 30-60 seconds.

3. Bucket exercise

Effect: restoration of the line and angle of the lower jaw, reduction of the double chin, relaxation of the muscles of the neck and chin, reduction of the habit of pulling the head into the shoulders.

How to perform: The starting position is as follows: sit or stand up straight, back straight, pull your head up at the top of your head. Then turn it to the side. Slightly lift the chin and push forward slightly lower jaw. Feel how pleasantly stretched the muscles of the side of the neck and chin. Tap your chin with your palm for 20 seconds. Then turn your head to the other side and repeat. Be careful not to be stressed chin muscles which pull the chin up and make it bumpy.

4. "Cap"

5. Lifting of the temples and corners of the eyes

Effect: reduces temporal depressions, lifts the temples, corners of the eyes and outer part upper eyelids.

How to perform: Place your palms on your temples. Pull them up a little to the crown, by 2-3 mm. Slowly and widely open and close your mouth 20-30 times. During the exercise, you should feel the movement of the muscles under the palms.

The main mistakes to avoid: a strong tension of the temples up, pressure on the temples, tension in the hands.
