April 18-20, 2017 in Moscow on the territory of the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center will host an international Exhibition "SPORT" is the largest exhibition event of the sports industry in Russia.
The organizers of the international Exhibitions "SPORT" are the Ministry of Sports Russian Federation and the Department of Sports and Tourism of the City of Moscow.
The subject of the Exhibition consists of 7 sections: "Sports facilities", "Sports equipment and equipment", "Sports medicine and nutrition", " Technical equipment and security sports facilities. Engineering”, “Fitness. Exercise equipment", " Extreme sport"," Sports in the entertainment industry.
In 2016, the exposition area of more than 14,500 sq.m housed stands of more than 250 exhibiting companies from 20 countries of the world. The exhibition attracted over 17,500 visitors.

On April 18-20, the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center in Moscow hosted the traditional International Sport Exhibition, organized with the support of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and the Department of Sports and Tourism of the City of Moscow. At the opening ceremony, Minister of Sports Pavel Kolobkov said: “The exhibition is being held for the fourteenth time. Over the years, it has established itself as an effective platform for interaction between representatives sports organizations, business and authorities. And rightfully considered bright event in the sports industry. The international exhibition "Sport" provides an opportunity to get acquainted with progressive solutions and innovations in the field of design, construction and equipment of sports facilities, information technology, advanced methods of organizing and doing business, as well as manufacturers and suppliers sports equipment, inventory, simulators and food.
One of the notable events of the exhibition was the round table "Innovations in the design and construction of sports facilities." The discussion was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Sports, the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Directorate of the Program", regional sports departments, as well as the organizers sports design and construction from the companies Bamard, Rosspetsstroy, ISD, etc. Opening the discussion, Sergey Vashchuk, First Deputy General Director of the FSUE Program Directorate, said: “The Ministry of Sports held 5 competitions for the best design of sports facilities, as a result of which 91 projects were recommended for implementation . Following the results of the sixth competition, which is now ending, 29 more projects were recommended. That is, today there are a lot of excellent projects of sports facilities. But we lack quality improvements, experience in using new technologies in the field of sports construction.”
Speakers at the round table gave examples of the successful implementation of new technologies in the construction of modern sports facilities, including the most daring domestic developments.
Sports technology does not stand still. And the task of the state is to direct their development in a constructive direction. From this point of view, it is difficult to overestimate the importance of such platforms for the exchange of opinions and information as the Sport exhibition.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Yury Tikhomirov, Director General of the FSUE Program Directorate, noted:
Every year the boundaries of the exhibition are expanding - this time 210 companies and organizations took part in it, including 68 participants from 14 foreign countries. Many interesting and informative events took place within the framework of the Business Program of the exhibition. Among them is a special exposition of the martial arts industry Fight Fan Expo, in which Olympic champion, Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Pavel Kolobkov. Such events as the International Conference of Advanced Information and Broadcasting Technologies in Sports Broadcasting in Sports, the InFootball Open International Football Congress and other events aroused great interest among exhibitors and specialists. I would like to separately thank the permanent participants of the exhibition and, especially, domestic manufacturers who, in difficult economic conditions, are expanding the production of sports goods, are increasingly introducing their own original technologies and innovative solutions. On behalf of the Ministry of Sports of Russia and the Directorate of the Federal Target Program "Development of Physical Culture and Sports in the Russian Federation" I want to thank the organizers of the exhibition and its permanent partners, including the Department of Sports and Tourism of Moscow and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
