Specialties

Educational activities are carried out in the following specializations:

– There was never a Jew Mary, Isidore, nor Joseph next to Jesus. There was the Witch Mary, who, right before his birth, went here, to Meteora, so that he would be born here, among the Magi and Witches. But she was late... Jesus was born a week earlier, AT DAWN, in a small house on the bank of the river. And his birth was accompanied by the Bright Morning Star. Our Magi hurried to him to see him and protect him. And his Teacher and Father came to bow to the wonderful soul of his newborn son. The Magi called him to Earth to stop the "plague", which, like a spider, had been weaving its black webs here for a long time. And it was the Magi who sent Christ to the Jews. But Jesus himself was never a Jew. The Magi hoped that he would have enough strength to stop the "black" Evil that was already spreading across the Earth. But Jesus lost by underestimating the "great weaknesses" of man... The Earth was not ready for His coming, just as it was not ready for the coming of the LEADERS, Isidore. And we are not ready to help her. When will it come right time We will open doors. And, perhaps, Light will triumph on Earth. But this will not happen for a very long time... Forgive me.
I was blown up.
- So, what - you will just calmly watch how the best are destroyed?! .. But this is also your world, the North! How can you just leave him to die? The easiest thing to do is pick up and leave. Or just WAIT. But won't you be haunted by such a betrayal for the rest of your long life?.. Can you live somewhere calmly without thinking about all the dead?!.. I do not believe in a beautiful future built on other people's deaths, Sever! This is scary. The world will never be the same if we don't help it now! Please help me North...
I was ready to fall on my knees if that could help. But, I saw that nothing would change from this... These people lived in their own Truth, very isolated and alien. I could not understand how they were not ashamed to stay on the sidelines when the best and most talented children of the earth burned in thousands, cursing their gift and dying in terrible agony .... My hands dropped - I could not fight alone. He was right - I didn't have enough strength.
– How can you accept this, Sever!.. How can we allow the "black" to seize our beautiful Earth?.. Don't your Great Teachers see what is happening? How, after all, to believe in something bright, Sever?! ..
– The Earth will suffer for a very long time and terribly, Isidora... Until it comes to the very edge of destruction. And only the best will always die for it. And then the time of choice will come... And only the people themselves will be able to decide whether they have enough strength to survive. We just point the way.
- Are you sure that it will be who to indicate, Sever? Perhaps those who remain will no longer care ...
– Oh, no, Isidora! Man is extraordinarily strong in his survival. You can't even imagine how strong he is! And a real Man never gives up... Even if he is left alone. It has always been so. And so it will always be. The power of Love and the power of Struggle are very strong on Earth, even if people do not understand this yet. And there will always be someone who will lead the rest. The main thing is that this Leader does not turn out to be “black”... From the very birth, a person is looking for a goal. And it depends only on him whether he finds it himself or turns out to be the one to whom this goal will be given. People must learn to think, Isidora. In the meantime, unfortunately, many are satisfied with what others think for them. And as long as this continues, the Earth will still lose its best sons and daughters, who will pay for the ignorance of all the “led ones”. That's why I won't help you, Isidora. And none of us will. It is not yet time for everything to be at stake. If we die now, fighting for a handful of Enlightened Ones, even if the time has come for them to KNOW, then after that, there will be no one else to “know” ... I see, I haven’t convinced you, – Sever’s lips were touched by a slight smile. - Yes, you would not be yourself if you convinced ... But I ask you only one thing - go away, Isidora! This is not your time, and this is not your world!
I felt wildly sad... I realized that I had lost here too. Now everything depended only on my conscience - whether I would agree to leave, or whether I would fight, knowing that there was no hope of victory ...
– Well, Sever, I will stay... I may not be as wise as you and your Great Ancestors... but I think if they really were such “Great” ones, you would help us, and they would forgive you. Well, if not, then perhaps they are not so “great” after all!..

College Characteristics

general information

Rostov Art College named after M.B. Grekova is the oldest art educational institution in the south of Russia.
"Greeks", with love and respect, are called students and graduates of the school. In the meaning of this word, we see the veneration of the art of ancient Greece, which is the basis of academic education, and at the same time, a connection with modernity, because Mitrofan Borisovich Grekov, whose name the school bears since 1959, is the first Soviet master of battle painting, an excellent Don landscape painter, bright representative of the 20th century.
The history of the school is multifaceted and rich in its achievements. It dates back to 1895-96, when, with the support of the City Duma, on the initiative of the chairman of the artistic committee of the Artistic Society A.S. Chinenov, a wonderful teacher and artist, drawing classes were created. Over time, drawing and modeling classes grew into a highly professional art school, which gave the country and the world such outstanding artists as S.G. Korolkov is the first and unsurpassed illustrator of the epic novel "Quiet Flows the Don" by M.A. Sholokhov; E.V. Vuchetich - People's Artist, author of monumental sculptural compositions in Berlin, New York and Volgograd; G.I. Shiltyan is an outstanding Russian-Italian artist who worked for many years in the Vatican; G.K. Artyomov is a remarkable Russian-French artist whose works are kept in museums and private collections in France and America; V.A. Pushkarev is an artist and art historian who for more than 20 years headed the State Russian Museum, who preserved and returned to Russia the works of Russian artists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries; folk artists A.I. Laktionov, A.D. Romanychev, N.A. Ponomarev, Yu.V. Zhulyev, N.Ya. Booth, B.M. Lavrenko and others.
Today, as well as more than a century ago, the Rostov Art School stands on the traditions of the Russian realistic school. Before the revolution of 1917, the educational process was supervised by the Russian Academy of Arts, which laid a solid foundation for academic education, which to this day is an immutable law of education for all generations of teachers, many of whom are students of the school and institutes of the Russian Academy of Arts. “Well, they teach you on the Don!”, - once said the famous artist, art critic and restorer I.I. Grabar, after looking at the work of students of the school B. Lelkov, V. Lenya, S. Skoptsov, I. Yazev, who came to enter the Moscow Institute of Fine Arts in 1937 (now the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov).
The authority of the RCU as a center of art education in the south of Russia took on special significance in the 1950s and 1960s. Representatives of republics and autonomous regions studied at the school North Caucasus. Returning to their homeland, they formed the core of national art schools in the field. Many of them became honored and folk artists: G. Pashtov, M. Tkhakumashev, T. Lahter, the brothers Hasan and Hussein Sungurov, V. Vaskin, N. Eledzhaev and others.
The school is constantly in the center of the cultural and artistic life of the Don region. Students and teachers of the M.B. Grekova participate in the design of city, regional holidays, festivals, in holding Sholokhov celebrations, actively participate in international, all-Russian and regional competitions, winning prizes.
To develop the creative potential of future artists since 2001, an exhibition-competition "Creators of the 21st century" is held annually in autumn.
Today, paintings and graphic works by young artists, pupils of the RCU, are exhibited in the best exhibition halls of the region and the country. An integral part of the main exposition of the Tretyakov Gallery in the section of contemporary art of the last decade of the twentieth century are the works of our graduates V.N. Koshlyakov and A.S. Ter-Oganyan. In 2004, Alla Shevchenko's graduation painting "Checkpoint" was added to the permanent exhibition of the Central Museum armed forces Russia in the city of Moscow, and in 2006, within the framework of the regional exhibition project "Contemporary Art for the Residents of the Don", the RCU presented to the audience an exposition of educational and creative theses from their funds "Grekovtsy - fellow countrymen."
In July 2005, the All-Russian plein air "Quiet Don", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail Sholokhov, was widely covered in the media, organized by the school. Many works from the reporting exhibition immediately replenished the exposition of the local museum of the village of Vyoshenskaya. And in the summer of 2006, the participants of the regional plein air "At the Don-father of the river ..." spent unforgettable days on the Pukhlyakovsky farm in the Rostov region - the birthplace of the famous Don writer Anatoly Veniaminovich Kalinin, who turned 95 that year.
Behind last years the best of the students visited plein-airs in the Ulyanovsk region, the homeland of the artist A.A. Plastov, in Pereyaslavl-Zalessky, in Karelia, in St. Petersburg, in Saratov, in Sergiev Posad, where the organization and diligence of the Rostovites were noticed, and the work of the "donets-well done", as they were called, was highly appreciated.
One of the significant events in the life of the technical school is participation in the All-Russian exhibition of diploma works of students of art educational institutions, held in October 2009 in Saratov. The exposition of the works of our students was highly appreciated and was recognized as the best along with the works of students from the leading educational institutions in the field of professional art education - the Moscow and St. Petersburg Art Schools, while none of the educational institutions participating in the exhibition received such a number of awards as RHU - 9 diplomas of winners!
RCU is proud of its history and its graduates: painters, sculptors, theater artists, designers.
The professionalism of RCU graduates, who are in demand in the labor market today, is known far beyond the region and the region. They head Children's art schools and art workshops, work as leading production designers of theaters in Rostov-on-Don and the region. RCU graduate in 1985, Nikolai Simonov is the leading stage designer of Moscow theaters, the owner of the highest theatrical awards "Crystal Turandot" and "The Seagull", designed more than 70 performances in the theaters of the country. Tatyana Lapteva, a graduate of the theater and scenery department in 2004, received the Golden Eagle award from the National Academy of Cinematographic Arts for her work on the series Liquidation, having managed to work on creating scenery for such well-known films as Ataman, Sin, Lace . Ekaterina Zyablova, a graduate of the same department, received a diploma from the regional competition Melpomene 2012 for the design of the play Mowgli.
In the best traditions of the school - the annual admission of RCU graduates to the leading art universities in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
The school pays great attention to future applicants, providing advice to parents and teachers of children's art schools, art schools and art studios. On the basis of the school for future applicants, from September to June, there are 10-month preparatory courses, to which RCU invites those who wish to try their hand at creative work, to touch the world of fine arts.

Specialties

Educational activities are carried out in the following specializations:

“Well, now that’s all,” said Kutuzov, signing the last paper, and, getting up heavily and straightening the folds of his white plump neck, with a cheerful face, he headed for the door.
Popadya, with blood rushing to her face, grabbed the dish, which, despite the fact that she had been preparing for so long, she still did not manage to serve it on time. And with a low bow, she brought it to Kutuzov.
Kutuzov's eyes narrowed; he smiled, took her chin in his hand and said:
- And what a beauty! Thank you dove!
He took a few gold pieces out of his trousers pocket and put them on a dish for her.
- Well, how do you live? - said Kutuzov, heading to the room allotted for him. Popadya, smiling with dimples on her ruddy face, followed him into the upper room. The adjutant went out to Prince Andrei on the porch and invited him to breakfast; half an hour later, Prince Andrei was called again to Kutuzov. Kutuzov was lying on an armchair in the same unbuttoned frock coat. He held a French book in his hand, and at the entrance of Prince Andrei, having laid it with a knife, he rolled it up. It was Les chevaliers du Cygne, the composition of madame de Genlis [The Knights of the Swan, Madame de Genlis], as Prince Andrei saw from the wrapper.
“Well, sit down, sit down here, we’ll talk,” said Kutuzov. - It's sad, very sad. But remember, my friend, that I am your father, another father ... - Prince Andrei told Kutuzov everything he knew about the death of his father, and about what he saw in the Bald Mountains, passing through them.
- To what ... to what they brought! - Kutuzov suddenly said in an excited voice, obviously clearly imagining, from the story of Prince Andrei, the situation in which Russia was. “Give me time, give me time,” he added with an angry expression on his face and, obviously not wanting to continue this conversation that worried him, he said: “I called you in to keep you with me.
“I thank your grace,” answered Prince Andrei, “but I’m afraid that I’m no longer fit for headquarters,” he said with a smile that Kutuzov noticed. Kutuzov looked at him questioningly. “And most importantly,” added Prince Andrei, “I got used to the regiment, fell in love with the officers, and the people, it seems, fell in love with me. I would be sorry to leave the regiment. If I refuse the honor of being with you, then believe me ...
