Blokhin football player personal life. Oleg Blokhin, footballer - biography

There were many "famous" and "great" in the history of national football. Legendary - units. Vsevolod Bobrov, Igor Netto, Edward Streltsov,Lev Yashin, Oleg Blokhin... Who else?

On Blokhin, some facts of whose glorious biography are considered by AiF.ru, this short list, perhaps, ends.

Athlete

Oleg Blokhin, the legend says, not only could, but should have become an athlete. He, in fact, had nowhere to go, because mom, Ekaterina Zakharovna Adamenko, was known as a noble athlete: Honored Master of Sports, champion of the USSR and Ukraine in pentathlon, long jump and hurdles.

But football was still more fortunate: under the influence of his father, little Oleg made the right choice, as it turned out later, and immediately got into the school of Dynamo Kyiv. Moreover, the main selection criterion was the running speed.

"Golden Ball"

In 1975, 23-year-old Blokhin became best football player Europe, that is Messi/Ronaldo/Neymar(of your choice) of your time. It became, I must say, rather unexpectedly, because the competition for the prize of France Football magazine that year was simply incredible. Just imagine: the main contenders for the highest individual title were considered Johan Cruyff And Franz Beckenbauer- two megastars of the world scale, who were in the prime of their talents!

As it turned out later, the decisive argument in favor of Blokhin was his incredible performance in two matches for the UEFA Super Cup, in which Dynamo Kiev met with Bayern. Kyiv in 1975 took the Cup Winners' Cup (the second most important European club tournament of that time), Munich, led by Beckenbauer, took the Champions Cup.

It is clear that in all cases, the favorites of the Super Cup pair were the Germans, which included so many stars that at least collect the world team.

Surprisingly, in the first match, which took place on September 9, 1975 in Munich, the people of Kiev managed to beat the invincible Bayern - due to a goal scored by Blokhin. Yes, not just a goal, but a real masterpiece, which must be seen. Well, to hear, of course, because the phrase of the legendary commentator Kote Makharadze became winged: “I went through the entire Bayern like a trolleybus along Khreshchatyk.”

The return match, Kiev, which was attended by 102,000 fans, brought Dynamo an even more convincing victory - 2:0. And again, Blokhin chalked up both balls ...

The performance of the young Kyivian in these matches impressed the jury of the Ballon d'Or so much that his advantage over his competitors reached incredible levels. Blokhin scored 122 points in the end, Beckenbauer 42 and Cruyff 27.

“I became aware of the victory a week before the New Year,” Blokhin later recalled. - I was sitting at home - then I had something with my leg. They called from the editors of "Soviet Sport" and announced the victory of the "Golden Ball". At first I thought it was a Christmas joke. I could not promptly verify the veracity of this information by calling one of the Dynamo players: there were no mobile phones in those years. Especially before the New Year, everyone was on vacation. But when calls began to be heard from different people - colleagues, friends and journalists, I immediately realized: they were not joking.

Unfulfilled "Real"

In those years when Blokhin was shining, there was only one way for a Soviet football player to get a contract in a foreign club: by jumping over the Iron Curtain. But there are still legends about contracts on the terms “write in any amount”, which were offered in the West to domestic stars.

It is clear that the interest of the sharks of football capitalism in Blokhin was gigantic.

“I remember, having played seven or eight seasons in Kiev Dynamo, it was as if I felt a ceiling that it was impossible to break through with my head,” recalls Blokhin. “Then it really was. At the 1982 World Cup in Spain, people from Real Madrid came up and said they were ready to pay 4 million dollars for me. In those days - crazy money! When told about it Koloskov, Vyacheslav Ivanovich smiled and patted me on the shoulder: “Oleg, well, you perfectly understand that in our conditions this is impossible. Such things should be treated as a joke. Laugh - and put it out of your head.

Look at Bubba!

In the fall of 2003, Blokhin was appointed head coach of the Ukrainian national team, and his very first statement caused an extremely mixed reaction in football circles. “We must not “break through” to the final part of the 2006 World Cup, but win the group!” Blokhin said.

A little later, the author of these lines managed to get a long interview from Oleg Vladimirovich. We sat for three hours, as I remember now, in the restaurant of the Sport Hotel in Kyiv and talked about everything! But this topic - overestimated, let's say, ambitions - went through the entire conversation.

“I don’t want to discuss how and why the former coaches of the national team worked, it’s not in my manner,” Blokhin said then. - And I made public my conviction: the bar should be the highest. Bubka jumps 6 meters 15 centimeters high, and he is a champion. And another time after time he sets the bar a meter lower. And he will never jump like a champion, and he will look at Bubka with his head up. What is the reason to do serious business, if you set yourself the goal of being average? It's time to raise the prestige Ukrainian football. We have lowered this very bar so much that it was even difficult to imagine how people will perceive such impudent statements about plans to win in the group. To put it mildly, everyone was very surprised ...

- But you should probably not expect a statement from you that Ukraine can become a world champion, right? I continued my interrogation. Are your ambitions within reason?

- Wait. When the Danes were suddenly pulled into the 1992 European Championship, the players were going to the team from the beaches. People bathed themselves, sunbathed - and then suddenly you need to play. Well, they came to drink beer, as it seemed to everyone. And they took it and won! Today we have a specific goal - to get to Germany in 2006. Let's get there - we will set another task. Let's first see how we can play football...

Very soon it turned out that they were good at it, and now it was not necessary to “look at Bubka” from the bottom up. Firstly, Ukraine really won the qualification, leaving behind the Turks, Danes and Greeks. And secondly - and most importantly - it became one of the sensations of the final part of the World Cup. The start, however, turned out to be God forbid anyone (defeated by the Spaniards 0:4), but then everything got better. Including the game.

In general, the future world champions Italians were able to stop Ukraine and Blokhin in the ¼ finals, and this result still remains highest achievement team throughout its history.

"Moscow"

Today it seems almost a fantasy, but not so long ago, Russian and Ukrainian football players and coaches went to visit each other like home. In the championship of Russia, brothers-Slavs - it was possible to assemble a couple of good teams, coach Grozny worked at Spartak, our Semin With Gazzaev- in Kiev "Dynamo" ...

As the head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Blokhin lasted almost 4 years. But at the end of 2007, when the wave of admiration for the previous success subsided, and new ones could not be achieved (the team drove past Euro 2008), he left the post. And for almost a whole year he moved to Moscow, where a very interesting project of the same name was being promoted at that time.

In the 2007 season, FC Moscow reached the final of the Russian Cup, losing to Lokomotiv (0:1), and took fourth place in the national championship. Nevertheless, the young coach of "Moscow" Leonid Slutsky was dismissed at the end of the season, and not someone came to replace him, but personally Oleg Vladimirovich Blokhin.

It’s hard to say what exactly the club’s owners were guided by, but if they thought that Blokhin would purposefully instill in Moscow a taste for sparkling, sharp-attacking, fun football, from which spectators and sponsors would immediately be delighted, it was a delusion. Blokhin, yes, played such football, and his coaching credo is a pronounced pragmatist.

In general, for the promotion of a "startup", the candidacy is, to put it mildly, controversial.

In addition, it quickly became clear to everyone and everyone in Russian football circles that Blokhin was an emphatically, sharply independent person. He is literally overwhelmed with self-respect, turning into pride. He fundamentally does not dance to other people's tunes and is ready to take the pose of a boxer at any moment.

In general, Blokhin's love with Moscow did not last long. Exactly the season, at the end of which, in November 2008, Oleg Vladimirovich was politely pointed to the door. Well, what do you want if the club took 9th place in the championship, did not qualify for the UEFA Cup and flew out of the Russian Cup at the quarterfinal stage?

- Blokhin is an outstanding football player. Personality, shared his impressions Yury Belous, general director of Moskva. - But it shows through so much that it annoys our players. And legionnaires - even more so. He has such a megalomania that he often speaks of himself in the third person: “Blokhin will not do this! No one will put Blokhin on his knees! He is not a diplomat, does not recognize compromises.

"I'm guessing myself"

Probably, the features of the stellar character prevented Blokhin from being fully realized in the coaching field. Blokhin did not achieve serious success either with the Ukrainian national team, to which he returned in 2011, or with Dynamo Kyiv. Moreover, Dynamo under his leadership could not even take second place in the Ukrainian Championship (bronze in the 2012/13 season), did not take a single trophy and set an anti-record for the number of defeats in the championship: 12 in 44 matches...

It will soon be three years since he retired from active football, although 65 years old is quite an appropriate age for coaching. True, in the spring of 2017, rumors leaked to the press that Blokhin was negotiating with representatives of an unnamed Chinese club.

— Chinese? I can’t say anything yet,” Blokhin commented on the news.

- Then there will be a sea of guesses ...

- I'm guessing myself. When I have something to say, I will definitely say it.

- Agent Sandor Varga, who has worked with you for many years, said that you will no longer return to coaching career taking into account the fact that in Dynamo you had a microstroke. Like, health is more expensive.

“Let Shandor go about his work and not tell me what my health is like. I haven't seen Sandor for three years. Or is he a psychic to determine what my health is? If he is a psychic, let him chumak charging water...

There are many great and famous in the world of football, but only a few truly legendary ones. Oleg Vladimirovich Blokhin is one of these players, and even if some journalists notice a certain megalomania behind him, they themselves confirm that it is well deserved. Few people know that he was successful not only in football, but also in athletics. In his biography and career, there is a lot of evidence that success is one of his character traits.

Childhood and youth

Oleg Vladimirovich Blokhin was born on November 5, 1952 in Kyiv, the capital of the Ukrainian SSR within the USSR. Oleg's mother, Ekaterina Zakharovna Adamenko, was a famous athlete, she was engaged in long jumps, hurdles and pentathlon. The birth of her youngest son (Ekaterina Adamenko also had a son from her first marriage, Nikolai) did not prevent her from performing at Olympic Games 1952 in Helsinki.

Oleg Blokhin with his parents

The father of the future champion, Vladimir Ivanovich Blokhin, at the time of the birth of his son, served in the special department of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs, later headed the Federation of Modern Pentathlon of the USSR, led the educational and sports department of the republican society "Dynamo". Oleg also trained in the training complexes of the Dynamo club. The footballer graduated from the Kazan State Institute of Physical Education and studied at the Faculty of International Relations at the Kazan State University for four years.

Football

Oleg Blokhin began his sports career as a striker for Dynamo Kyiv. He scored his first goal in 1972. In 1975, he contributed to the team's victory in the European Cup Winners' Cup. In the final match against the Hungarian Ferencváros, Blokhin scored the third goal.

In the battles for the UEFA Super Cup, Dynamo under the leadership of Valery Lobanovsky twice beat the Cup winner Bayern Munich, and at the match in Munich the footballer became the author of the only goal. In this game, the fans noticed and appreciated Blokhin's favorite technique: a jerk, a break, a blow. The ball flew right into the far corner of the goal. Best Goals Oleg Blokhin was scored according to the same scheme worked out to perfection.

He became five times top scorer championship of the USSR, in the 1974 season, the Dynamo striker hit the opponent's goal twenty times. He played 112 matches for the USSR national team - more than any football player in the history of Soviet sports, and scored 42 goals. His team reached the final of the World Cup in 1982 and 1986. The first of the Soviet football players scored two hundred goals.

Oleg Blokhin receives the Ballon d'Or

A complete list of records and achievements of the legendary Ukrainian scorer will take more than one page of printed text. Oleg Blokhin was repeatedly named the best football player according to the fans. He has written four books about football. In 1975 he was awarded the Golden Ball. Before Blokhin, only one Soviet player, the goalkeeper, became the winner of this prestigious award. However, a player's career cannot last long, and in 1990 the player switched to coaching.

Trainer

The coaching biography of Oleg Blokhin began in Greece. In 1990, the young coach headed Olympiacos - successful team from the city of Piraeus. Strengthened the composition with the help of Gennady Litovchenko and Yuri Savichev. Under the leadership of Blokhin, Olympiakos twice took second place in the national championship, in 1991-1992 won the Greek Cup. At the beginning of 1993, the coach went to work in the football club of Thessaloniki "PAOK".

In 2003, after returning to Ukraine, he took the post of head coach of the national team. He led the team to the quarter-finals of the 2006 World Cup. At the end of 2007, Blokhin resigned from his post and became the head coach of the Moscow football club. A year later, he left Russia and in the 2009-2010 season he worked as the sports director of Chernomorets Odessa.

On April 21, 2011, he again became the head coach of the national team of Ukraine, and on September 25, 2012 - the head coach of Dynamo Kyiv. However, poor health prevented Oleg Vladimirovich from fully fulfilling his duties in both teams. The sick head in the national team was replaced by Andrey Bal, and in Dynamo - by Alexei Mikhailichenko. This season was the least successful for the Kyiv club in the years after the collapse of the USSR.

Now Oleg Vladimirovich is the oldest representative of the Blokhin family. My brother died in 2011, my mother died in 2012, and my father died in 2013. Oleg Vladimirovich himself experienced during this period a hypertensive crisis and an operation to remove a blood clot from the carotid artery. After a black streak, in 2014, Oleg Blokhin left the post of Dynamo Kyiv coach and began to devote more time to his family.

Personal life

The first wife of the champion was an equally bright star of Soviet sports - the absolute world champion in rhythmic gymnastics. The wedding of the most beautiful couple in the USSR took place in 1979 and was widely discussed in the press. The personal life of sports stars was constantly under the gun of journalists. Many photos of the famous family have been preserved - at the stadium and just for a walk with a child.

On January 15, 1983, a daughter was born in the family, named after her mother, but better known as Irisha. The girl had every chance to continue the labor dynasty and, following her grandmother and mother, become a famous gymnast. However, Irisha chose music. In 1999, she won the Guitar Center music competition and left for the USA, where she studied at school. acting skills in Los Angeles and starred in episodes of Hollywood films.

Returning to her homeland, she was engaged in staging the numbers of the Ukrainian national team in rhythmic gymnastics. Her song "Unite the World" became the anthem of Euro 2012. In November 2014, she gave birth to a daughter, Jacqueline, the first and so far the only granddaughter of Oleg Blokhin. By this time, the grandfather was in a new marriage and raised two more daughters - Anna and Ekaterina, who were born in 2001 and 2002, respectively.

Oleg Blokhin and Irina Deryugina lived together for 19 years, but broke up. In the second marriage, Blokhin entered into adulthood- at 48 years old. His wife is 16 years younger, her name is Angela, she runs the household and believes that one star in the family is enough. The daughters of the champion change their hobbies, went in for chess and tennis, but the father, who was drilled in childhood, does not force the children to pursue a sports career.

Oleg Blokhin now

In 2017, Four Four Two (4-4-2) magazine included Oleg Blokhin in a hundred the best players throughout the history of football. In the ranking, the ex-striker is ranked 45th, becoming the only Ukrainian and one of two Soviet players on the list. On the 22nd position is the famous goalkeeper Lev Yashin.

There is talk of Blokhin's desire to return to coaching. In the summer, he rejected the proposal of the Chinese, who came to Kyiv to negotiate with former coach Ukrainian and Greek football players, but I am ready to consider serious options.

In 2018, directors and screenwriters Sergei Dolbilov and Semyon Sluchevsky started filming documentary film"Lobanovsky, Blokhin and others in the unofficial reports of a KGB major". The script is based on the book by Igor Cherkasov. The premiere is scheduled for May 2018.
