Skyrim mods are more npc. Added an Easy version of the mod for those who have low FPS with the regular version of the mod Added the Monk of Fire quest

A new game. New life.

If you want to start new game in Skyrim, there are a lot of options for what kind of Dovakin you should be. The choice of race, class, perhaps, choose the motivation for their actions or biography. Even by replaying the same dialogue lines over and over again, you can get a fresh experience from the game.

But, more than that, one can discard the role of the Dragonborn altogether. Why not play the game as someone completely different - not the hero from the prophecy, but a completely different person (or mer / beastman)? Here are five great mods that will help you with this.

Download

The mod is not new: everyone familiar with the field of Skyrim modding, without even playing with it, at least vaguely heard about it. And if you are one of those people, you should correct the situation.

Alternate start skips the initial wagon and Helgen scenes and allows you to create a new character with a different story. Maybe you're a refugee from Morrowind with only a few items left at home, or maybe you're a homeowner with a lot of money behind your back. Perhaps you are a simple visitor to a tavern, a bandit from some camp deep in the forests, an Imperial legionnaire or a Brother / Sister of the Storm, or maybe even a vampire living in his own lair. And these are just a few of the story options that this mod provides.

Here's the good thing - if you still want to be a Dragonborn, all you have to do is chat with the tavern owners - one of them, talking about rumors, will mention Helgen. And from here you can start the main quest.

Download

The non-Dragonborn will surely have to spend more time among ordinary people. And in the "vanilla" version, this activity quickly gets boring, especially if this is not your first playthrough and you have already met them.

This mod adds backstories to most Skyrim residents, expands the dialogue trees and gives them new voices, which reveals the characters much more widely. Many give new quests, and some may even become your companions. Some may even marry.

Download

Unless you are a brave and strong Dovahkiin, some of the perks of celebrity status, like allowing Jarls to buy houses, are not available to you. Some houses become available for purchase after completing certain quests, but this mod will allow you to build a house anywhere.

Although the house will turn out to be rather modest, there is still something pleasant about living far from the noisy cities and being able to choose any suitable place in Skyrim and call it "home".

Download

Perhaps you are tired of killing dragons, but given the hostility of the Skyrim fauna, you will still kill someone. So why not make this process more realistic? After all, the process of processing an animal carcass in “vanilla” Skyrim in the form of using it as a container with skin and meat is rather meager.

This mod adds new actions that can be done with the dead animal. You can pick up the body, put it on your shoulder, or search it. Added skinning, butchering and dismantling of the skeleton. Also added is a perk system, special weapons and tools, new alchemy ingredients, meat recipes, and more. Even the dragon cries of the mod did not pass by.

Download

A fairly voluminous part of any role-playing game is the imposition of restrictions. The game has the function of fast moving between locations, but for a realistic "roleplay" you need to forget about such conveniences. And this means that if you need to get some thing, and you are far from the city, you will need to spend a lot of time running to the nearest merchant.

Instead, this mod will allow you to trade with any NPC you meet, and this will not only help fans of role-playing games, but in principle is a logical addition to the game world. Of course, you can't remove the items they're wearing from NPCs, but any other items they might have can be easily traded.

Updated to version 1.0

  • Added Easy version of the mod for those who have FPS sags with the normal version of the mod
  • Added Monk of Fire quest

Description:
Are you still missing "life" in Skyrim?
Now that's enough for sure!

This mod will add 240 (!!!) NPCs to more than 30 locations!

Mod features:
240 NPCs (Farmers, patrols, monks, tax collectors, knights, merchants, etc.)
All NPCs have respawn and their own routes.
Some rare NPCs have dialogues and even some kind of quest. (Subtitles are required)
Farmers, having come to the farm, begin to work there.
Patrols can protect the NPC / GG if they are attacked by enemies.
Not everyone likes to walk, meet travelers on horseback.
Vendors sell food and also get it by hunting goats.

ATTENTION:
For some users on the nexus, the mod conflicts with A&T (http://site/load/247-1-0-11856). But again, some people don't. Install both mods at once only at your own peril and risk.

Installation

Move the mod files to the data folder. Transfer Esm to the date folder and select a light or simple version of the mod and move it to the date folder.

Removal

Delete mod files from the Date folder or delete via the launcher.

Original Mod Page

Q: Some NPCs just stand still! Why is that?
A1: The problem is with your system - it's too weak. (very unlikely)
A2: Maybe the NPC is standing indoors? Open the door for him, if so.
A3: All travelers start at different times, just wait. (Most likely)
A4: Some problems with the mod version. (unlikely)

Q: Oh my God! I have a horse without a rider! What to do?!
A: Don't worry. The traveler could well get off his horse to look at something on the street / road.
Well, or die from a bandit's arrow, it happens, yes.

Q: I have them go like a train, what's the matter?
A: It's about the game. So far no one has been able to fix it (Details can be found on the author's page)

Q: Why do traveling children need swords?!
A: It's just that some people play with the Killable Child mod. (Such a stupid idea, so if the kids are killing you - the console and the disable command.)

Q: Is WiS compatible? What about the other mods populating the world?
A: Of course. This mod will perfectly complement any of them. If you still have problems - always write (not to me, but to the author =))

The mod adds a lot of new wandering characters to the game. Wars in Skyrim IV - Rainbow mode (Difficulty: 1)

This version of the mod does not actually change the standard gameplay.

  • The mode that is most conducive to immersion in the game and exploration of the world
  • Fewer battles than other versions
  • Now encounters with enemies will become exceptionally rare, and the opponents that you come across thanks to "random encounters" will be few in number.
    Perhaps they will guard something or patrol the territory and rarely get into a fight;
  • The gameplay is closest to the standard, but the number of living creatures in the game is slightly increased
  • 50% fewer mob spawn points than in the Normal mode version;
  • The chance of a random encounter is the same as in the standard game
.

Wars in Skyrim IV - Normal mode (Difficulty: 2)

Will add more battles to the game and slightly change the course of the game.

  • Three times more spawn points responsible for "random encounters" (with travelers, hunters, assassins, and the like);
  • Changes in physical indicators (giants have become larger, and killer fish make reservoirs unsafe for swimming);
  • Small creatures can move in packs. In addition, you can meet groups of opponents fighting as a team;
  • Spawn system changes;
  • New textures;
  • Increased the number of wild animals
  • Encounters with living creatures are tied to zones (snowy terrain, forest, and so on). Meeting, depends on which zone you are in
  • Significant fall damage
  • A 2 second cooldown will make it impossible to spam with a power attack
  • Small chance of NPC raids on the city;
  • After spawning, NPCs will patrol the area, go about their business, fight each other or hunt (you can see orcs hunting mud crabs or werewolves attacking mammoths);
  • A small chance for a weak player to meet a strong opponent.

Wars in Skyrim IV - Dark Rainbow mode (Difficulty: 3)

The most unpredictable version. Creates the illusion of an online game where everyone is busy with their own business. You can wander in the forest for hours and not find anyone, and on your way home you will randomly encounter a vampire lord who kills instantly. Or maybe you will stumble upon an ambush of archers or meet a dragon patrolling the area.

  • Modified the AI of horses, skeevers and wolves - now they will be more likely to avoid combat than before;
  • When fighting NPCs against NPCs or your allies, you are more likely to see a finishing blow;
  • Modified AI of water mobs - now they are more aggressive than before.

The most difficult game mode, fight to survive. This version includes all the features of Golden Age plus a few extras.

  • All spawn points from Golden Age are doubled
  • a chance for a low-level player to meet a boss enemy;
  • Respawn time reduced to 1 hour.

    - WiS IV - Heroes & Villains Hard - Added resistance to magic, damage, less health absorption and slower regeneration for heroes and villains. It will be very difficult to kill them!

  • This mod has only one goal - to "revive" all the cities of Skyrim, by adding additional NPCs that will roam the cities and interact with their new environment.

    During the day, several NPCs will appear and walk around the city, interact with the environment, and sometimes talk to each other. They will be sent to various parts of the city quite randomly, and once they reach right place, will look for objects to lean on, sit on, or just eat somewhere. When night falls, they will go to the local tavern - there they will interact with the inner environment, just as they do outside.

    New NPCs appear every day to replace the old ones, and among them you will see peasants, farmers, nobles and travelers and other NPCs that will roam the cities, just adding atmosphere to the game. New NPCs will be in the city all day until 8am, and then they leave the resting place and new NPCs are created in their place.

    This opens up new opportunities for thieves. Fresh karmamas will always walk around the city, which are just waiting to be cleaned. For assassins, there is an infinite number of citizens they can practice their assassination art on.

    Currently, 10 NPCs will spawn in all major cities (Riften, Whiterun, Markarth, etc.) and 5 in smaller cities (Falkreath, Dawnstar, Morthal, etc.) So far, these are only Nords, Imperials, Argonimans and Dunmer among which will be nobles, peasants, farmers, travelers, etc.
