The idea of ​​buying an inflatable kayak has matured for a long time, since my friend has been using such vessels for a long time, but more for traveling than for fishing. My priority is catching fish, which means there must be specialization.

I had enough patience for a couple of days, and without waiting for the heat outside, I assembled the kayak after work in the office. Assembly with smoke breaks did not take about 40 minutes, and later I fit into 20. I must say that some points of the assembly need to be adjusted. A couple of times I forgot to install the seat when assembling the frame and had to assemble everything from the beginning. After a while, I found an excellent video on the Internet on assembling a kayak. Unfortunately, at that time it was no longer relevant.

Having meticulously examined the entire structure, he made sure that everything suited me in the assembly. Particularly pleased with the inflatable seat and footrest. As I was convinced later, they really provide a comfortable stay in a kayak for a long time. The first trip was made on the May holidays, for acquaintance and “grinding in” a narrow river was chosen, but with stretches, where fishing was supposed to be. The task of catching spawning was not set, but I wanted to train and settle down in the cockpit of a kayak, which was successfully implemented.

The move at “Khatanga Fish” is easy, and the rafting downstream, and then against it, passed without comment. Stability is good. Cautiously, I got up to my full height - there are no problems, I need to learn how to keep my balance and, most importantly, not be afraid, because fear is not the best travel assistant. But just in case, all my belongings are packed in hermetic bags and everything that can fall overboard is securely fastened with the help of clips with carabiners.

Firstly, the kayak was taken for fishing: it was no problem to cast and pull fish from the side, everything was convenient and comfortable. Secondly, rafting, skidding and rapids - everything went very well. Thick fabric with a density of 850 g / m is practically indestructible, even if you rub against stones, and this is due to the inflatable design, and foam was laid where the aluminum frame is installed. But she is not able to fight the “technogenic” one. On one of the thresholds there was a meeting of the bottom with the armature of the mower! Where she came from is unknown. Unpleasant, but the repair did not take much time, and in the future such problems did not arise.

On the day we walked from 20 to 25 km, and fishing was both on the "track" and in the cast. Not only pike were caught, but also other fish, which pleased us with their candles and demonstrated their strength! You can get into such wilds only on an airboat, a ship with a water jet or on such a kayak, and this is a financially incomparable expense. And the dynamics of such expeditions gives a lot of unforgettable impressions.
