To get the third junior category, you need to win five fights against beginners or 3 fights against sambists of the 3rd youth category during the year. To get the second youth category, you need to win 5-10 fights against sambo wrestlers of the 2nd youth category or sambo wrestlers of the 3rd category during the year.
To get the first youth category, you need to win five fights with fighters of the 1st youth category or ten fights with sambo wrestlers of the 2nd category during the year. For all youth categories, a prerequisite is the successful passing of tests. How to get an adult sambo rank? To do this, it is necessary to win a victory over sambo wrestlers of the 1st youth category in 6 fights or the 3rd adult category in 3 fights within a year.
After that, the fighter is assigned the 3rd adult rank. To obtain the second adult category, it is necessary to win eight fights over sambo wrestlers of the 3rd category or 4 fights over fighters of the 2nd category within a year. .
Regulatory requirements for categories in SAMBO wrestling
I youth category
During the year, win 5 victories over athletes of the I youth category (of which 2 are clean) or 10 victories over athletes of the II youth category (of which 3 are clean) in competitions of any scale. II youth category
Win 5 victories over different athletes during the year
II youth category(of which 2 cleanly) or 10 victories over different novice youths (of which 3 cleanly) in competitions of any scale.
I category
Win 10 victories over athletes of the II category during the year (of which 3 are clean) or 5 victories over athletes of the I category in competitions of any scale.
II category
Win 8 victories (of which 2 are clean) during the year over athletes of the III category or 4 victories over athletes of the II category in competitions of any scale.
III category
Win during the year 6 victories over beginners (of which 2 are clear) or 3 victories over athletes of the III category in competitions of any scale.
Candidate Master of Sports (CMS)
MEN / WOMEN
1-3 places at the Russian Championship among older boys or at the All-Russian Youth Games;
1-2 places in the territorial championships of Russia among older boys;
1st place in the championships of the republics, territories, regions, Moscow and St. Petersburg among older boys;
1-5 places in the territorial championships among juniors;
1-3 places in the championships of the republics, territories and regions of Russia, y. Moscow and St. Petersburg among juniors;
1-3 places in the championships of the DSO and departments and branches of the armed forces that are part of the RS FSO "Dynamo", among juniors;
1-2 places in the championship of the Ministry of Education of Russia among older boys; win 10 victories (of which 2 are clean) over athletes of the 1st category during the year at competitions not lower than the city scale or within 2 years - 16 victories over athletes of the 1st category (including 5 cleanly);
Sambo is an international sport, one of the youngest but actively developing. Included in the list of Olympic disciplines. All fighters of this direction are divided by age (7 categories), weight and skill level. An indicator of the latter is the belt, or rather, its shade. At the same time, regardless of the tone, the belt is always sewn from cotton, like a jacket.
Belts in sambo in order and color
White is the beginning of the beginning. It is given to all beginners who have not yet developed the skills to pass the test to confirm the qualification degree. After switching to new level skill, a belt of a different shade is issued. The color depends on the type of certification and the level of personal progress of the athlete.
Important! Each category has its own list of minimum requirements. The athlete must be able to perform a certain technique, know the initial stance and get up to it in a timely manner, as well as move as intended. At the same time, all the names of the techniques are pronounced and memorized not in Russian.
Youth ranks
The initial stage is 6 kyu or rokukyu. The assignment of a degree is carried out by the club or circle itself, provided that the examiners - at least 2 people - have the necessary qualifications (1 KYu and above). Belt color: white.
Important! The status and position of the certifying person is retained by him only for a year. If within 12 months he has not confirmed his level in one way or another, then his right to conduct exams is liquidated.
The test for assignment of the 2nd youth category is carried out under the same conditions as set out above, but the shade of the issued belt changes to yellow. In the registry, this stage is designated as 2 student degree, gokyu or 5 kyū.
1 youth category, 4 KYu or 3 student degree is also awarded by the leadership of the school. Color of the handed belt: orange.
Important! You cannot get a green or blue belt by demonstrating your skills to the leadership of your home school or circle. It is necessary to reach the local, city or district level. In this case, the hosts must themselves have a title of at least 1 DAN.
Applicants for 1 KYU, 1 adult category or 6 student degree are certified at the republican, regional regional level. The qualification of the examiner must be at least 2 DAN. Color of the received belt: brown.
Candidate Master of Sports
At this stage, the method of obtaining the title changes. Not taken into account demonstration performance before the certifying commission, and the personal achievements of the fighter. 1 DAN, CMS or 1 master degree is awarded in the following cases:
- victory at the territorial youth championships;
- 1-3 place in the championship of Russia among juniors or in the territorial championship;
- 3rd place in the youth championship of the Russian Federation.
In addition, you can become a candidate for length of service as a coach. To do this, you need to hold a post and systematically take part in competitions at various levels for 3 or more years. The recipient, in addition, must have 2 or 1 professional category.
If any of the above requirements are met, the athlete is given a new identification mark. Shade of handed belt: black.
Master of Sports - Categories
Athletes of the level 2 DAN - 5 DAN are assigned black belts. Holders of 6th, 7th and 8th Dan wear a red and white identification badge. After awarding the 9th and 10th master's degrees - 9th and 10th DAN respectively - red belts are used.
